you probably dont care but if you're bored like me during the covid times then you can watch pretty much all of the latest movies and series on InstaFlixxer. Been binge watching with my brother during the lockdown :)
I was there, I shed a tear. J Tillman's fills during the ending section (unfortunately not on this video) were incredible. What an incredible band, could have easily came out and played 3 minute indie-folk pieces, but instead we were treated to movements.
Frontman Robin Pecknold discusses how he enjoys performing "The Shrine/An Argument" at corporate festivals:* "I like going into that one at some like, corporate festival - not this one, but... like... other ones...". ua-cam.com/video/XRetMVvpykE/v-deo.html
Fleet Foxes is a freaking genius band,i listen to really underground heavy Death Metal and when i want to slow it down and switch gears,i always put on F.F
I was known this song by a girl on weibo, which is like facebook in China, and this girl is already suicide, and this song was her last posted, what a pity, she already know sth would save her,why she didn't wait more days.(sorry for my poor english)
can anybody work out the extra lyrics? this is what i'm hearing.. -when the tide came in the eyes would never let you stay, -in the night time with the light on every light all day, -in the ocean leaving me no time to obey, -in the morning, in the morning.....??
My guess would be that he wanted something he felt more intimately connected to, and as he started out as a solo musician he probably wanted to get back that, as that's what he's most comfortable doing. I'm just speculating, though.
seriously Josh Tillman, Robin Pecknold and Christian Wargo singing together sounds like a chorus of angels
adam smith Don't forget Casey
PERFECT

Just saw them live on their 2022 tour and I wish they had played this. So I’m hear listening to it.
Dam that’s unfortunate I saw them play this in the same Shore Tour and man was that intense! Went to see it in state of MD.
saw this live and it was one of the best things ive ever heard
J. Tillman's voice :,) I miss his presence in fleet foxes
I simply miss Fleet foxes.
slothpastry
Was gonna say the same thing. His voice against Pecknolds is just a beautiful harmonious relationship.
He’s certainly been missed a lot, no doubt. It’s still been hard to adapt myself to the fact that he’s not in the band anymore.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
@@jes8253 missed a lot obviously, but he’s doing incredible by himself and Fleet Foxes too 🥰
I really hope they do return one day, even in a different context. I just want more of them.
Dunceparty Maybe you've heard, but the new album's almost done! Check out Robin's Instagram for lots of super short samples!
Ayin Simón Villagra yeah!! I've been listening to the little sounds bites he's been posting, dreams do come true!! Hahaha, thanks! :D

He performed solo while he was with the Fleet Foxes too, not just as Father John Misty.

rsho8484 looks about right yeah
No conocía este grupo y me gusta
Well, this band doesn't have very prominent percussion, so I'm sure he felt he wanted to express himself more
My guess would be that he wanted something he felt more intimately connected to, and as he started out as a solo musician he probably wanted to get back that, as that's what he's most comfortable doing. I'm just speculating, though.
