If I already have a kdc x701 will my remote work with this? I love my 701 but its barely been a year and suddenly the front and rear preouts are just cutting out and all I hear are my subs for a bit. I am not happy about this at all.

This headunit is fantastic but I'm having trouble using the USB input to play music from my Pixel 3. My phone charges when plugged in but audio plays through the phone speakers. What am I doing wrong?

Please connect your phone via Bluetooth to the receiver, then access the Bluetooth Audio source to listen and control the music from your Android phone.

@@ethanlau279 Make sure you have USB File Transfer enabled on your phone, and not just "charge via USB" (which is often on by default).

Hi, manual says can enter "Source Select" and turn off sources such as Pandora , Heart, Spotify, Aux, that I am not using, but I can't figure how to do that. I only use BT Audio and Radio, so can hit BT button to get to that quickly, but then to get back to radio I have to hit source select a bunch of times. Only thing I don't like about it, everything else works well. Thanks for any help.

Make sure you are selecting the "Standby" source in before you enter into the menu to turn off the app sources.

Yes, there are file repeat, folder repeat, all repeat, folder random, and all random options.

How do I connect Bluetooth

When the receiver is on, search for the Receiver name from your smartphones list of available Bluetooth connections. Pair the device, you will see a prompt pop up on the receiver asking you to confirm connection by pressing the volume knob. Its that simple.
