Any platforms out there which could use stocks for collateral?
Kevin, as you are always teaching us ways to optimize, do you do how do we create a standing instruction to pay ourselves a recurring monthly salary in order to enjoy some bank perks for crediting salary to their bank account? I heard only HR has the ability to choose a drop-down of SALA, while our own usual standing instruction doesn’t have this option?
You can make a bank transfer from POSB, choose "Salary" as the purpose of transfer. Send to UOB One account to qualify for UOB One's interest.

@@tuckwengtor9421 Not comments. When transferring, some bank lets you specify the purpose of transfer, you need to choose "Salary".

For the pittance that they pay, it is not worth at all to take the risk. Collateral will only cover to some extent assuming the stock did not run up during the day. Even a 10% run up puts you in a risky position. If the borrower goes under don't assume your broker will use their money to compensate for the difference between the previous day price and current price. Unless it says in their terms and conditions such specific scenario they will use their own money and get you back your shares at market price. Also I think you lose your voting rights during the period.

Yes, as long as you are above 18 and have a document that shows you can stay in SG, you are good to go

Hey bro..Just to share. Penang is an Island referred to the Pearl of the Orient by the British. It was under the straits Settlement administrations together with Singapore and Melaka during the late 18th century. Actually Penang today is the mini-Hong kong of Malaysia or an island similar to Singapore. I was shocked to learn the hotel prices through Agoda is RM59 (SDG15) per-night for a 3 to 4 stars hotel after discount, l am referring to Georgetown Hotel. Penang is a food Paradise, my Singaporean friends go there for the Char Koay Teow with duck egg, chicken rice, Hokkien Mee and nasi lemak. They are the best in Southeast Asia, the. The more l visit Penang, the more l fall in love with the island it. l will go Penang again by end of June, 2024.
