So . . . I had said I wasn't gonna get this deck this year. I lied. Totally preordered it 🙈So I'm holding off on watching this, but after I get the deck, I'm here for it! So excited!
This deck! What a great surprise. I had not heard anything about it really. I love so many cards. The 3 of swords unfortunately is a deal breaker for me. This is not how I see the card at all and the animal suffering is also not how I see my 3's but so many other cards are inventive and original and diverse and beautiful. Thank yo so much for sharing. I liked hearing your reflections on it.
Listening to you talk about this deck is helping me get excited about it all over again. I was so pumped to get it, then did a reading with it and kind of struggled and felt disconnected. Just means I need to keep working with it, I think! I was cocky and it brought me down a peg. When I first saw this deck online, I couldn't hold back from buying it even though it was very expensive (shopping in CAD and having to get it shipped to Canada added to that). But I felt very strongly that it was worth it. The creator of this deck did such a wonderful, intentional job with it. I was already referring to the online guidebook as it was really helping me to understand and connect with the cards (I'm a beginner), so I desperately wanted to support the creator and hold a copy of it in my hands. This deck just screams high quality when you open it and look through the cards. :)
I don't watch long videos, however yours I massively appreciate Lisa, because I love when people take the time to give their opinion on symbolism which I'm obsessed with. So thank you 😘 Love from Ireland 💖
Such interesting choices. The 3 of Wands sums up a lot of the deck - very modern - yet then we have Anubis for Judgement. There's several jarring juxtapositions for me. The Empress is really quite wonderful as a modern depiction. The colouring is divine. Thank you for a lovely long walk-through. Blessings x
This deck is honestly worth buying to me just for the world card 😍😍😍😍 but there are so many wonderful details throughout this deck!! Im still stuck on how all the writing instruments in the nine of wands are chewed and how the rain is bouncing off the swords in the eight of swords. Lovely!!!
Also turns out you do have the option to buy the deck with the holographic edges if you order it after the Kickstarter, and I don’t want to talk about how I now know that. 😂😂😂
I usually see the strength card as the lion purrrring rather than being ferocious.... her touch/strength is bringing out the gentle side of the lion.....which I usually see as the method to overcome what is calling for my strength.....like the gentle power of my strength 🌺

I see the nine of pentacles is female in this deck. In the waite smith it is a man...a falconer, but most decks make it a woman, I think mostly because in the original it is a person in a long robe.

I will try to check that out soon but it is easier to shuffle than the new US Games cardstock (Crow Tarot, Spiritsong Tarot etc)
