The thing with storms in Singapore.. despite the Heavy downpour the water level on the ground, hardly goes above your ankles... The drainage system drains away the excess run off to the Marina Barrage catchment and the dam releases the excess to the sea.
Glad you didn’t let the rain dampen your spirit. I’ve experienced rain here so hard it’s cleaned the mould & dirt off a concrete footpath. 😂

Cool editing, great effort. I missed out on the rain, as I was hiding in Suntec City, so nice to see how it was under the esplanade bridge! Re food in Singapore, you should try the local hawker centres. A few to choose from in the CBD, Chinatown or Tanjong Pagar, close to MBS. Din Tai Fung is nice, but it won't be too different to what you'll find in Australia.
I was there too! kept an eye out for you haha. got so drenched, was an amazing weekend though!

We were lucky enough to be in the esplanade centre getting dinner when the rain came down, I didn't open my umbrella once. Getting back to the Padang grandstand was a challenge though, it was a quagmire.
Bay grandstand is a real drag because of those short backed seats and yes, everyone stands up because the view is compromised.
It's a pity if you missed Green Day as they put on a great show.

A lot of ang mohs met during the past 2 days really enjoyed it but do they realise the immense costs to Singaporeans who not only have to foot the bill of the event of Carbon Tax, put up with transport inconvenience, the noise and the heat generated and basically getting nothing out from the event since F1 started. Not even a discounted ticket. But of course it is getting clear now that the VIP box has become the party ground for despots and dictators past and present to hobnob and suck in the good life by making millions suffer under them in misery and poverty.
Perhaps it is just you who cant stand someone is featuring Singapore, had a good time and enjoyed his trip. How is this all at expense of Singaporeans and as you imply causing immense hardship to Singaporean LOL.
