I wanted to thank you for everything. I needed to do Animations in my second semester and i forgot how to do them again in anime studio, but thx to you, you saved my life. God bless you :)
Thank you, thank you. I watched this while doing menial tasks at work (spreadsheets). I can't wait to get home and start on my first character. I can appreciate the effort it took to make 2+ hour video all the while talking. Not many college professor can do that. I like how you talk through all of your steps, so we can hear what you're thinking. It makes following the process so much easier.
I'm SO GLAD I found your channel - thanks so much for taking the time to make these advanced Moho tutorials - you make using AS / Moho look so easy - and I have to say you're an amazing Cartoonist - Props!
I'm completely new to animation and I'm not an artist, but I wanted to try out animation to enhance my videos, etc. After checking out what is out there, I decided to buy Anime 11 debut since it was very affordable and it seemed to have the best chance for people with limited drawing skills to create animation. After watching a ton of videos on how to animate, including the official Moho trainer, I have to say that your videos ROCK! Not only are your explanations clear and easy to follow, your animations are fantastic. You also make everything look so easy and give great ideas. I love the way you take a rectangular shape to fit a tracing. So much faster and easier than using the add points tool, which was how Moho tells you to do it. The only thing I don't understand it why YOU aren't the official trainer for Micro Smith. I mean, the guy they have seems okay, but your videos are ten times better. I watched another video of yours and you explained more in 5 minutes (the video was long) than the Moho guy did in an hour. Because of your videos, I upgraded to Moho 12 because I want to try some of the more advanced stuff once I get going! Thanks for all the great videos! Keep em coming!!
Thanks, Jonathan! That really means a lot to me! I haven't been able to make many videos recently because I'm back in school for graphic design and my workload is crazy! If I could animate or make tutorials for a living I would but it's hard to do so right now. Don't worry though, I'll never stop doing animation tutorials! My goal is to get a job as a graphic designer after doing this program but if I can somehow figure out how to animate for a living I will definitely doing that! Thanks again for the kind words! It makes me want to make more tutorials! :)
Great Video, got me lots of instant time saving solutions. Too long? No way, its thorough, very well explained, answers most questions and that needs time. Thanks a lot !
Sir, I have learned more from you in 2 hours than all the other Anime Studio videos out there. Amazing work and teaching approach. If you have any publications (books, DVD) I am definitely interested.
VCAM Thanks VCAM! I don't have anything published about anime studio. I'm just making UA-cam videos for fun because I had a hard time finding tutorials when I first started using it. I might try to write something about anime studio in the future though!

@@superkvideos4325 Hey Kendale, that is a super tall order! Are the characters already made and just need to be rigged? I think it is a very great video! Everything and step was talked out as you went so everyone could understand regardless of the skill level etc! Thanks for your patience and time!
I agree that it is too difficult for most people to sit through long tutorials, so thanks for the jumps cuts because it helps to give it the feel of a series. My only suggestion on that front is to split it up into separate videos and post them into a playlist. I know a colleague who says he'll watch a 2-minute video twice as opposed to watching a 4-minute video once. Wow, right? He would never be able to have a career as an animator. We're lucky to get away with a 10-minute tutorial on animation techniques. It was brave of you to leave in the part where you were trying to fix the head layer that was bound to pupil bone. It was painful to watch because I KNOWWWWWW the feeling of going back and forth and sometimes you're not 100% sure of what you did to fix the problem. LOL. Anyway you got it. whew! :-) Thanks for sharing your hard work. This video is extremely helpful and I'll be sending my students here.

How can I solve this problem...? Help me please.
Wow bro! You have breathed life into my characters...JOY!!! My biggest struggle/fear is backgrounds and environments. Do you have a tutorial for that? How do you deal or come up with backgrounds. Side Bar - how would you do shadows for characters?
Whats up nhlafrica M! Sorry I didn't see your post until just now. Backgrounds can be tricky but there are a few things you can do. First, check out the backgrounds that already come with Anime Studio and MOHO. You'll be surprised by how much there is already in the program. Two, look online for background images to use directly or to use as reference or tracing images. you can even just take pictures walking around and trace those. Other environments can be tricky but there are tons of tutorials on making backgrounds on youtube and they don't have to be done in MOHO. Just use those as references too. I might make another tutorial on just backgrounds in general as well since so many people want some info on it. Check out my StarWars Background tutorial if you wanna see me make one in Anime Studio. ua-cam.com/video/gQ2wvs_RecY/v-deo.html
Love this and thank you for doing this for us. Quick question. My character is basically a stick figure thin arms that look funny when fully bent. Tried to make smart bone action to fix. One with arm bent one one, one with arm bent other but the action only remembers which ever bend I do last. How can I fix so that I can make arm look right both directions.
the only recommendation i could make with the long tutorials is maybe breaking them up into multiple videos so people can have convenient stopping points and watch the rest later
