In Windows 10 and Windows 11, this problem can easily be solved by a free plugin from Microsoft: learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/autologon This is how it works: ua-cam.com/video/e3K2WvrtXQI/v-deo.html and in Windows 11: ua-cam.com/video/racgoabLi-4/v-deo.html
UPDATE: I was able to get it working! I think I had to enter a PIN in order to activate the options. All good now. Thank you!!!! None of these steps are possible for me. The option to toggle off "improved security...Windows Hello" is grayed out and togglable. There is no checkbox at all for "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer." Sir when i open Xbox installer then it shows this error 👇 Xbox installer has stopped working a problem caused this program to stop working correctly please close the program So,How can i fix it ?
@@ipMalik no i dont have windows 11 i have windows 7 i tried installing it yesterday too but still error i think i install last program that is winrar.
@@easysolutionsforcomputer.4592 I think that the installation of the WinRAR program cannot provoke the problem in any way, there is something else here .. What exactly is the cause of the problem - it's hard for me to understand from a distance
@@easysolutionsforcomputer.4592 I am a supporter of a clean installation of a new Windows, because in the process of installing a new OS on drive C, all old data is completely deleted, and all accumulated errors and problems are also completely removed. In this case, personal data must be saved in advance on another disk or partition.
So I followed this and it worked. Until I switched users, because there's two of us using the pc. I have an administrator account, she has a standard account. When I switch back to my account windows is requiring my password! Then, it REQUIRES me to set up a PIN. Which means I have to repeat this procedure all over again... every time we change users! Microsoft is a joke!
Follow the link and download the utility from the Microsoft website. Unpack the downloaded archive and double-click the Autologon64 file. Enter your password and click the Enable button. Click OK on the confirmation window and restart your computer. learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/autologon
If I understand correctly, you want to disable the password for the local account. You open - Settings, Accounts, then - Sign-in-options, click - Password and Change password. Enter the old password, and leave the field where you need to enter a new password empty, Next. The password request is disabled.
I was able to eliminate the need to sign in when my PC boots up. I did this by going to settings, accounts, and changing the PW to blank. This works great when I shut down and then boot up, or when I do a restart. BUT, when I wake my PC up after sleep, I get the message, "You've entered an incorrect pin several times" "To try again, enter A1B2C3 below."
@@ipMalik Changing the Timecode setting is beyond an average user’s capability. I gave it a good shot using Google, but all the results seemed to be geared toward Microsoft professionals and was indecipherable to me. It looked like this parm is dealing with video display.
@@ipMalik Yes, I have Windows Home. So, if I restart or boot from a shutdown, the system comes up with no password requirement. Good. I tried changing my PIN. Now, if I wake the computer up from sleep, it just asks me for my five-number PIN. OK. I'll be satisfied with that. Thanks!
Hi, it did not worked it created another user and shows that could no sign in because there is not internet connection, I have to choose my Microsoft account and then enter my password.
Sometimes this happens - please don't worry. For some reason, Windows created an empty local account without your knowledge, but it can be easily deleted. Now return all the changes step by step to the previous state and check the password request box in its original place, it is not necessary to create a new PIN code, restart your PC. After that, the second user will disappear. Now do the whole process from the very beginning and this time everything will be successful.
