Yes I put a new oil filter in an after about 20 minutes running the filter had no oil on it also some metal shaving in oil pan no damage to lower engine and always used recommend oil

The new valve,is changed to plastic material,catastrophe inminent.
The day of broke plastic valve,cut inmediately oil preassure because a bits of plastic in oil cavities fix bro.
So... I was prefer same you,or find other metal valve in good conditions.
I phone to German and explain this problem of new valve and they told me there was no other metal valve produced,now all valves are of shit plastic material.
Why???
I don't now,I imagine that is for accelerate the destruction of old engines.
Becareful with this.
Its better go to mechanize a new piece that put a shit plastic new valve,I think.

Bro, pls how did you remove the pressure relief valve? It was not shown in this video. Mine looks like it was made of plastic, but I can't figure out how to remove the valve like u did in this video. Thanks
There is a small snap ring that locks in the pressure relief on the bottom of the timing cover

Would anyone happen to know what the numbers are for the side clearance spec he refers to at 5:30? Im rebuilding my M42 and have been trying to find that clearance spec with no luck..
Rotor clearance is about .0005 is I’m not mistaken
I found the numbers. 0.002” - 0.006”
There wont be any difference in oil psi at cold start, but a two thou clearance will have a higher oil psi at running/high oil temps than a six thou clearance👍

Could be related to clogged pick up tube or clogged check valve or possible rear timing plate leaking back to the pan or the worst possible scenario blown oil pump
Tengo esta misma bomba de aceite y de un dia para el otro se m descarga y no levanta presion sabes q puede ser?
Es posible que tenga un sensor de presión de aceite defectuoso que ya no esté leyendo la presión de aceite, o se desenchufó o un problema con el cableado. debe tener 5 voltios con la llave en el conector. asegúrese de que no salga aceite, arroje el sensor hacia el conector. ¿Verificó el nivel de aceite? ¿Y fue correcto? También revise el tanque de refrigerante y asegúrese de que no entre aceite en el ... En el peor de los casos, necesitaría colocar un probador de presión de aceite en el puerto donde está el sensor de presión de aceite y tomar una lectura de presión mientras arranca y mientras el motor está encendido inactivo. Si no hay presión, entonces querrá asegurarse de tener la cantidad correcta de aceite en el motor y el peso. Si todo es correcto y aún no hay presión, el siguiente paso es echar un vistazo al tubo de recogida para ver si está obstruido o la bomba de aceite está averiada.
