Man, that machine is still going strong. I wish I was a bit more mechanically inclines as yourself. So, every 3 oil changes you use Rotella T oil? Is that in the pumps or the engine? Thanks
That’s what I always tell myself and my dad. These companies need to up the standard with engine hp. 22-24hp is not enough. They should offer at least the 24-28hp engines
I see you reviewed the bad boy revolt. I just bought and gave the new 48 bad boy revolt with the bigger Kawasaki 27 hp a shot it’s been a good mower. I’m in the market for another stand on and I’m looking at a scag 48 just like yours. My main question is do you think it’s that much better than the bad boy? Cutting wise? I’ve stuck with bad boy for years but know scags great reputation. We are still trying mowers and seeing what brand we want to stick with for the long term.
Nice man, that Bad Boy is a great mower. I would say the Scag velocity deck is hands down the best cut you can get. So, is the Scag that much better, not by much but the deck is really fantastic. I would like to know what you decide. I don't think you could go wrong with either brand long term
@@DOCREAL1118 thank you for the quick response. I’ll keep you posted. It’s hard to get a demo these days so just have to do as much research as possible and pull the trigger. I do like to have all matching equipment. Both dealers in town Kawasaki on both. Both run same blades. I think both have the same hydro gear. So if I mixed them while We’re trying them both it wouldnt be that bad parts and maintenance wise
@@floridalawncareexpertsllc2817 I understand that. If money isn't an issue it would be a non issue for me. Scag would be my choice hands down. Nothing against Bad Boy but the Scag is really a top notch mower. Tough choices for sure man
@@DOCREAL1118 we got the scag 48 vride 2 with the Kawasaki. Seems like a great mower so far. Very smooth. Every part has a grease fitting. Seems to be top notch. Cuts great. I will however get a larger engine next time but it still cuts great. Only time will tell on which one outlast the other. The bad boy revolt is still an amazing machine in my eyes. Very powerful but I think they could have done better on the smaller things like cables and bearings. I appreciate the help.
@@floridalawncareexpertsllc2817 I think you will love that 48. Great machine. A little under powered at times but sturdy. I will be interested to hear which one outlast the other.

Great video! Not looking forward to the snow tomorrow. A lot of people love the V Ride II, I have never used one. I am definitely considering one as my second mower for next year. Have a great night!
Scag seems like a good mower I never used any of that commercial equipment before but I can say your right it's all in how you maintain, clean and the up keep on your machines you have to take care of it or it won't take care of you. Exmark looks nice but there prices are crazy
Exmark and Scag are about the same price. Quality is never cheap but you get what you pay for. Definitely take care of your equipment no matter what you have. 👊
I just got a Cub Cadet stand on. I like it so far. The biggest negative I can think of it that it is so loud. Let me know if you want me to give you a review throughout the year. I totally agree with your assessment about dealers. Some are great and some are not.
Dealers definitely make or break mower choices. I have to drive an hour to get to a decent Scag dealer...so it just doesn't work for me. Glad to hear your good luck with Scag has continued!💯✌️

Why dont they provide it with 100 horses and a turbo and be done with it! 😁. I've actually saw a video of someone add a turbo to a push mower. Unfortunately it was able to run for only 20 seconds.

great video doc, whats your thoughts on Grasshopper and mid 80's Toro belt drives :)
