For the past few months I have been wanting to film Andy’s Vride he has been working on but he made me wait until it was finished! Well that day is today, this Scag Vride was one of the first 1,000 Vrides made! It has 2,800 hours on it and has had a new motor, new hydros, new spindles and has been rewelded!

Great video man! I've got an old JD F1145 60" with just a touch under 5000hrs on the clock and I'm trying to do the same thing, just gradually redo it over time. Makes for a bit of winter fun hey

I have a 2012 Gen 1 model. Bought it brand new back then. I would bet that hydros have been replaced on your mower probably. They had problems with them and mine were replaced by Scag if I remember correctly. My engine blew up last June and I replaced it. Then at end of season I had to replace the deck.( I cut in a harsh sandy environment). I was already a new engine into it plus spindles to we put the new spindles on the new deck. Etc. It has been a great mower. I like how you gave this old mower a a facelift. Great job
I have a,32 scag belt drive walk behind mower 23 years old. 48 bobcat belt drive mower. I wouldnt take million dollars for t hff em. They are both priceless to me

Nice job I had the first generation at 3000 hours I had to weld the cutting deck in the middle it had a big crack I was able to get another 1000 hours out of it after that it had a total of 4100 hours after that the deck was shot

We 4 of the original v rides. 1500-1950 hours on them
why in the world do you need to rebuild a mower with 2800 hours? we have exmarks with no rebuilds with 3000+ hours, 2 bobcat standers with 2500+ hours with only minor service and repairs, and wright standers with well over 6k hours with no rebuilds just normal service and a few small repairs
