This is one of my favorite multi-pens. I like the light weight and narrow grip. I have one set up for doodling with 2 black refills in 2 different line widths.
I've since got the mechanical pencil and eraser refills for the Coleto. I like them pretty well, though I now feel like I need another pen body so I can enjoy the ink as well. Love to know your thoughts on these refills, @unsharpen.
i’ve been doing some research so i can get my first multipen that isn’t a total piece of junk. your video here convinced me to go with this pen, and i’m so excited to build my own! thank you for your video!
Love this pen body! Sad to hear its beening discontinued. My favorite thing is the coleto mech pencil refills. I have one body with a 0.5 and 0.7 to make a diy multipencil. Another body with 0.5 and the neat mini extendible eraser pen. Its not a great eraser but the novelty of clicking to select either one is too fun. I will have to try to grab a couple more bodies before theyre gone. Wanted to make a 2 color highlighter multipen with the hight tec c neon color options 🤔

Few years ago I went back to taiwan and got a 5 colors body, and had a mechanical pencil unit, an eraser unit, a black pen unit and a blue pen unit, and I even found a stylus unit online which isn't really available anymore, I always love these multi-function things so I still use this pen till today.
I remember when the mechanical units and the stylus units first came out, and then the eraser units few years later, I just really hoped they come up with new unique units instead of new colors
Hey Sal! Great info as always. I was wondering if your refill tips are crooked when extended? I recently noticed this in my model. This observation prompted me to check any multi-pens I have- they’re all crooked! Guess that’s just a function of the rotating mechanism? I can’t believe I’ve never noticed this before.
Yes this is pretty common. It’s easier to see with needle tips but probably has something to do with bendy refills and relatively short stabilizing walls around the writing tip. Seems so solvable

Grabbed it a couple of years ago. Got the mechanical pencil insert.
I was looking at that, too. On Amazon it comes with an eraser unit for the other slot. Really cool!

Is the sxr 80 different from the 89?
Yes. The 80 is shorter, because it’s for multi pens. The 89 is for full length slim pens
