This scene blew me away. If you think this about exposing Joe as bisexual you clearly missed the fact that moments before this Bosworth accepted the deal with Miss Lutherford, and Joe was clearly against it, calling her a "bored, poisonous militant with time on her hands". Instead of convincing Bosworth to reconsider, he sees his opening with the dilitant's boy toy. The next scene where he walks out, shirt casually unbuttoned, with that "I just got laid" swagger as Lutherford realizes what happened is priceless. Dude's in the closet and Joe probably gave him a better time than he ever had with Lutherford. Lutherford kills the deal and at the end of the scene, Bosworth is completely clueless why she changed her mind. Meanwhile, Joe has once again introduced chaos to a situation in order to control it to his whim.

I know from what I have seen of Lee Pace in other roles, his acting is outstanding. I love the complexity of the roles I’ve seen him in but HCF sounds like it’s on another whole level.
