I need to have a go at mine in the next few weeks for the first time. What I have done in the past for other vehicles to make it easy to see the notch on the timing pulley is mark it with liquid paper or white nikko marker
I'm having some issues with my 2011 Isuzu ecomax I'm having a hard knocking sound would like your information on that could it be the fuel injectors not working properly

Cheers mate 👍🏻
great video dude really helpfull
Thanks glad u found it helpful
What was the valve nut size?
Yes u are right but the top part is bov where fuel not used is fed back in to system.
Cylinder cover? You mean valve or rocker cover…
How do you know if it's on Tdc compression 1 or 4. Thanks
U can see how the cams are positioned, if it is TDC on 1 means the exhaust and inlet cams will be positioned so the valves are closed
@@dougkelly8854 thank you
What do u mean by positioned?
you said .15mm, that's 6 thou 006 are you sure, seems too tight a gap
stuarth43 yep, looking at the service manual right now. .15mm or .0059in, on a roller motor it will be much tighter.
Actually what i should have called them was leak off pipe which is the top part of injector not bov
15.5 what?
