Loved this show back in the good days. I have seen Mark Lindsay in concert several times. Wish I could have seen the whole band. Thanks for the memories!!
Gary Crabb Saw Paul Revere and the Raiders with Dick Clark’s Cavalcade of Stars back in 1965 or 1966 in Chicago. Also on the bill was the Byrds, Bo Diddly and someone else I can’t remember. That was a long time ago! The Raiders put on a really good show. The Byrds had top billing and the leader Jim McGuinn (later changed his name to Roger) was from Chicago. I remember the ticket prices were very reasonable, maybe $5.50 per person. The show was at the Arie Crown Theatre, which was huge, at Chicago’s McCormick Place which is a big convention center on the shores of Lake Michigan. A lot of the teen concerts were held there since so many bands came through town during the ‘60’s and later. We were so lucky to be able to see so many great British and American groups. Those wonderful days won’t be forgotten nor will they ever return. We witnessed some great music and we had great fun.
Was there a clip of The Mourning Reign out here where they performed a song with the girl singing lead? It’s driving me crazy as I can’t recall the title. I’m sure it was on Happening 68.
Paul at his calmest.

Most likely not. I know all the band members. I'll ask Ric. I don't think there was ever a time when a girl sang lead with them.
you might be thinking of the other band. One is Morning Reign and the other is Mourning Reign.
Drummer1959 Thank you. I just remembered the song they did was “Buy for me the rain”.
@@ChadQuick270W Ok, I asked Ric and he said no not his band.
Does anyone know where I can find The Gripping Force on Happening 69?
What was the name of the song from the Brahman band ?
Mr. Soul, a cover of The Buffalo Springfield...
grace slick lookalike in the first band
Ole' Sahj looks like younger Mr Lindsay
Gee I'll take the station wagon 🙄
