Very smart to wait a month before giving a final review. We are torn between ordering the plush or firm. Your comments about the plush being too firm are alleviating my concerns about the plush being too soft. Thanks!

@@mindyhafner5227 Now that we have the plush I almost wish we went with the firm. It's just firm enough. The sides of the bed quish down pretty easily if you sit on the edge but it feels fine to lay down. We are side sleepers and do need some cush but prefer firm support.

. I did a review as well, & I can tell you I still do love the pillow top! I am a short and fluffy grandma, & my hips do not dig into the board underneath the mattress whatsoever. Great review. Love that its MAde In the USA. I wanted a purple mattress, i'm a side sleeper and after sleeping on my sons it was over top the best mattress ever, he's had it 3 yrs now. Better then the 4k I spent for the mattress here in our home. But the one issue was weight. The standard Purple Queen was almost 200lbs. And I try to keep our Travel Trailer light and its only 19ft TT but accommodates a true Residential Queen it was a big want when buying a new TT and not an easy find lol.
Thanks! Yes the Purple mattresses are very impressive but I’m happy that we chose this mattress. It’s definitely lighter than standard mattresses and when my bedroom slide comes in, it compresses the end of the mattress somewhat. I didn’t want anything too firm that would impede my slide from coming in all the way and cause a potential water leak. After several months of use, we have no regrets on the purchase!

Poor Robin lol. I was waiting cause I knew it would get him. We were really worried about our mattress and ours is Bamboo that came with the RV. I feel like Goldilocks It's not too hard and it's not too soft It's just right. I'm super impressed I've never been on a bed in an RV that was comfortable before. Glad that you finally got yours straightened out.

Thank you so much for this video. My wife and I are looking to upgrade our mattress in our 3 year old 5th wheel. Prior to this unit we had a class A for 12 years with a standard residential mattress but a residential will not fit in this unit. Also, we love the photos on your walls. We have been trying to find a manufacturer to print our photos on plexiglas made in America but can't find any. Who do you guys use?
You’re very welcome! Our photos in the bedroom are canvas style wrap around pictures. There are several companies online where you can upload digital pictures and they’ll ship it back to you on canvas. Nice thing is they’re very light, easy to attach to the wall and of course won’t break 😀

Would like to know how you find this mattress after 3 yrs. We got the Wilderness Montana Hybrid Plush 3 1/2 yrs ago. It is now broken down and gives no more support. Going with a different mattress this time around. Warranty is void because I made the mistake of removing the label. REALLY? No label no warranty. Any excuse will work.
Our mattress is still working out for us. It’s still giving the back support that we need. Sorry to hear that it’s not working out for you.
It can be hard to get a good sleep in an RV. Glad you found a solution. We also replaced our queen
It’s as comfortable as our mattress in our house so yes, it’s a great solution. I just wish we would have done it sooner lol 😂
I think what’s missing for RV beds are a box spring. We sold our RV for many reasons but one was poor sleep. Next time we’re going to make a smal height box spring form, add some kind of rubber strips pulled taunt across frame so mattress will float.

Manufacturers should get a clue and leave it as an option and/or give buyers option to choose from a selection of QUALITY mattresses. Maybe they would get a clue if people would just dump them on the lot before driving off.

I think you need to change what you say abouts returns. It states right on their website that it must be donated to a charity and you have to send proof from the charity that it was donated, not as you stated that you can send it back. Also on the better business bureau website, there is a response from Wilderness RV Mattress to a complaint that says "we require two forms of proof of donation. we require a donation receipt from the charity of your choice with the wilderness rv mattress on the donation receipt as well as a picture of the mattress at the donation facility or the designated vehicle belonging to the donation facility. " With Covid around, no charity place wants to accept a slightly used mattress.
Thanks for your comment. When we bought our mattress their return policy was as stated, that may have since changed, I’m not sure. Anyone interested in these products should check all the fine print on the company website as with any transaction. We don’t represent the mattress company.
Excellent, the wife and I are looking too. Do they ask for a weight requirement when ordering? I am 6'1 270 and the wife is 5'6 about 180.
No they don’t ask about weight but the mattress is designed to accommodate different sizes and adjust accordingly. I go about 230 myself, shouldn’t be an issue
After 10 months, how has the mattress held up? Still the level of comfort you all need? Still wish you had selected the soft pillow top version?
Mattress still sleeps great, no back pain. We added a topper to get the softness we wanted but yes, if I had a do over I’d buy the soft pillow top.
What was the weight of your RV Queen?
Unfortunately I don’t recall.. But I was able to lift the box by myself if that helps
I am thinking about purchasing this mattress but I do have one question i sleep hot does this mattress keep you cool have you noticed?
I wouldn’t say it sleeps hot because it’s not completely foam.. it’s about a medium.

Thanks for the video. We are getting our Odyssey 25R in a few weeks. Did this mattress off gas or have a strong smell? Do you think this would work for a corner bed with the same measurements?
Glad you enjoyed the video. The mattress odor was very minor and was gone in a day or two. I think it would definitely work for a corner bed
