I only knew Bruckner as a symphony composer until my trombone ensemble played "Os Justi". Gorgeous piece! It turns out that if you score an SATB arrangement down a major third, the soprano part is now in the alto trombone range. More recently, my church choir did "Locus Iste", much to my delight. Our director's opinion is that "Locus Iste" and Mozart's "Ave Verum Corpus" are the two best pieces of music in our choir's repertoire.

Amazing, incredible!!!
Absolutely agree! By the way, I kindly recommend the appreciation of the work of a living classical composer dedicated mostly to sacred music. I feel myself like a sort of non-official ambassador for his music - and, effectively, also one of his few supporters. He is very, very talented. You won't be disappointed. ua-cam.com/users/WFerdinand
