The seminary is in Italy. In my opinion, the common language should be Italian. Italian also is closest to Latin, and St. Pius X, I believe, wanted Priests who offer the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass to pronounce the Latin how it is done in Rome, with a Roman Latin accent. This would be nearly impossible if Priests only know French and English ect...
Nonsense. Sardinian is noted as being closer to original Latin, then the Italian dialect spoken in Rome. French is stressed in the ICKSP, because it is a French order, not an Italian one. The SSPX, is also a French order. It is also important to acknowkedge that some of the greatest orders of religious in the Church were founded in France. The Dominicans, the Cistercians, Trappists, Carthusians, Trinitarians, were all founded in France. The Jesuits began in Paris. France is not known as the, " Eldest Daughter of the Church," for nothing. The traditionalist movement is stronger and more pronounced in France then in other countries in Europe.
@LUIS-ox1bv Nonsense? Everything I stated above is true. The seminary is in Italy, not France. The Traditionalists movement is strongest in the USA. So should they be teaching in English? Also, who said anything about dialects? I am speaking of Italian, not Sardo, Siciliano, Calabrese, or any Roman dialect.
How have I only come across this channel now?! 😍

It is a French order in its foundations. Period.
