I came to Canada during COVID when none of the Canadians were working because they were receiving federal benefits, except for students. Everyone received those benefits, so we were pushed to work during COVID, and we did. We worked in a do-or-die situation without receiving any benefits ourselves. After COVID and completing my studies, I spent a lot of time improving myself and eventually got a better job. I've been making almost $150k every year for the last 2.5 years, paying 50-60% in direct and indirect taxes. I bought a car, furnished my apartment, and made tons of friends. Now, suddenly, I have to leave the country in a few months because they changed the rules. Five months ago, I was about to submit my application for PR, but the required score jumped significantly. I'm in construction under a government union, but I'm still not eligible because my NOC is not under any priority stream. I haven't been able to sleep or enjoy myself for the last 3-4 months and have been completely stressed. 99% LMIA jobs are fake they are charging 50k this days through lawyer.

Same here. I'm working in the government, specifically in the Ministry of Health, but I am not eligible because of the NOC code they prioritize. Many people I know submitted fake documents a year ago and got their PR, while I've been in Canada for six years, have a Canadian degree, and hold a high-skilled position, yet still have no PR. I'm starting to hate this country!

@@dhrupalpatel1928 To be honest, as a political scientist I have no idea how these ministers' brains work, as you point out, they don't even give privileges to the highly skilled workers currently working in Canada, yet they invite many people from outside Canada. Countries such as England, Germany, and the Netherlands have many programs for highly skilled workers in their countries. Consider that as a policy analyst, I have to quit my job in the ministry and return to my country after living and paying taxes in Canada for 6 years, but someone with a fake LMIA or a massage therapist under the NOC privilege category can come and stay in Canada. What a terrible immigration policy this is.

Isn’t minster miller’s deliberate increasing of french category draw considered as demographic engineering? Which is illegal under international law?

Canada is not even a third world country right now, sold out PRs and now we are paying the price, I don't think they care about an international law, they have almost violated many rights!

We legally studied in this country, graduated and have been working legally and all of a sudden we have to leave the country due to the changes although we have contributed to the country. Is it fair for us when we have contributed to the economy of the country and we have been here but we have to leave for the ones living outside to replace us. Ironic!

If you snitch/rat on or tell on employers who are letting you work under the table. JUST KNOW YOU ARE STILL GOING HOME. The vulnerable work permit is only for very few cases. Don’t fall for this. It just a way for the government to make things more strict. Don’t believe them. They have to tell you this becuse they are also being watched
