  • Gras harken, persen en vervolgens de pakken wikkelen in één werkgang met een bijzondere combinatie van fouragehandel De Buck uit Oostkapelle (Zld). De combinatie is zelf ontwikkeld en bestaat uit een Fendt 936 Vario Black Beauty met voorop een Niemeyer hark erachter een Freeman 1592 grootpakpers en McHale 998 wikkelaar. De wikkelaar wordt apart aangedreven door een 65pk Deutz motor welke er bovenop is gebouwd.
    Grass silage raking, baling and wrapping in one pass using a Fendt 936 Vario Black Beauty with in the front a Niemeyer rotary rake and in the back a Freeman 1592 Square Baler and McHale 998 trailed square bale wrapper. The wrapper is separately powered by a 65hp Deutz engine which is built on top of it.

      +2012isRonPaul It is dry, but not as dry as hay. He is wrapping them in plastic, sealing them so anaerobic bacteria go to work, pickling the grass. That us silage. But it does need wilting off and that has already been done. He is just raking it into rows so the baler can pick it up.

    • @samkom33
      @samkom33 5 років тому

      Nitro Haas,, problem is that most gras is way to WET for silage ore haylage right after cutting... you had to use tons of silo acid like we did in the 1980s when we used SIDE MOUNTED forage harvesters and PULLED A TRAILER behind and put the gras directly in a trailer and straight in a silo ore bunker
      and self loading trailer for bales are nice... but NOT CUTTING holes in the plastic with that isnt easy with most of todays self loading systems. hehe

      those cractors have 2 way turbo fans at somepoint when it gets above a point of x degrees of engine heat it changes the direction of the radiator propellors and cleans the radiator and the front. or puts it on extra cooling.
      but this si such a heavy tractor it wouldnt overheat fast for such a job.

    The bales are wrapped because they are still green and will catch on fire if exposed to air, no? I assume this is so they can get more output from one field in a year, as the grass doesn't have to sit on it for long.

    • @alfa85star
      @alfa85star 9 років тому +2

      No my friend. When grass is dry it's a hay, but when grass is half dry and half green it's a silage. Silage is better fodder than hay, it have more protein. It must be wrapped to doesn't mold.

    • @TheMetalButcher
      @TheMetalButcher 9 років тому

      So the risk of fire is only when it is green?

    • @alfa85star
      @alfa85star 9 років тому

      The risk of fire exist if it's "80%" dry. When grass is more dry than for silage but not so much dry for good prepare hay.

    • @Theorimlig
      @Theorimlig 8 років тому
