- July 2, 2019 - Visit to forage trading De Buck from Oostkappel during large square baling. The special machinery combines raking, baling and wrapping of grass silage in one pass. Used are the Fendt Vario 936 Vario Black Beauty tractor, Niemeyer front mounted rotary rake, Freeman 1592 Square Baler and McHale 998 wrapper, powered by his own Deutz engine. The bales are supplied with Piippo baling twine and FX silage stretch film of Coveris Unterland. Both are deliverd by Gerbri Plastics.

thank you very very much for keeping the audio instead of some "epic" music. Makes the video way better in my opinion. I love both seeing and listening to these machines
This is a good way to save operational cost. Impressive
*When everything runs smoothly, it's fantastic, but when issues arise, the entire day comes to a halt!*
Prachtige combinatie, echt mooi om te zien!
That’s one impressive set up, to row, to bale and to wrap all in one pass Amazing 😉!!!!!!!!!.
Danke für das tolle Video
When everything works well, great ... but when there are problems, the whole day stands still !!
No, I know the person who made this and he knows how te fix problems en how to work efficient
Mooi om te zien 👍
Wow... All I can say is, (IF ONLY) that was my dream come true on land that flat, buuut also the equipment. 😀😀
Nice set up love it keep it up
The official definition of efficiency. Nice setup.
Prachtige video van een prachtige combinatie.
Fantastic video sir! Nice combine!!!
I never saw anything like this before. Whoever thought these machines up should be rewarded. I am 69 and hauled hay as a kid but no one had anything like this. That big tractor is probably air conditioned. Nothing about hay hauling in the 50's and 60's where I lived was air conditioned! You either became conditioned to the heat or you did something else.
I did it in the eighties. No AC, but we had a hay train. Albeit just for traditional small bales.
Very impressive!
Goeie video 👍🏻
Bedankt!
Now this is cool! I've always loved farming.

Lekker video.
Lovely operation , never knew they could wrap the oblong bales 😁
Just watching this makes me feel hay fever but it is amazing.
Fendt Black beauty❤❤
Is really fantastic 😍
Mooie video
How to be efficient....level Expert...
That's probably so much fun aside from the constant maintenance of the machine.
Heck yeah dude
The grass/ground looks a little dry as well, must be a hot or relatively dry region eh?
We don't get to see the last operation... going to the bank !
Very cool indeed.
Wait wait wait a minute! When we do this on Farm Simulator 2019, they call it cheating! I’m confused... is this real life level ‘hacker’?
In reality anything that’s done faster or quicker will be used if it’s possible/affordable

Nah... one of the modders escaped again!
@DickEr Down Wtf is American English its just English and the person your refering too is most likely not English.
I think i saw Kevin James do this in Grown Ups 2!
I wonder why are you wrapping up the hay? It's already seems dry?
I want to see how that thing performs turning on the headlands.
Just needs a stacker now to drop bakes at the headland

Haha.
what is cost of whole setup ?
What percentage of moisture??
Great video and a really nice combination!! Is this the Oostkapelle by the sea, near Domburg?? There I was often for hollidays. Greets Stefan
Yes, this is near the sea.

Wouldnt it be easier to just have a mchale fusion on the back and your rake on the front ? ( I know the fusion is a round baler )
I think the farmer likes the square bales and he made this combination.
Ye I was just about to say why not get a Kuhn FBP 3135
Question : is the square faster than a round baler? The travels a bit slower but doesn't have to stop to wrap net unlike a round baler
@@dog6963 yes; also square bales stack better
Now that is what you call a hay train lol
Give me inspiration
I silage bales maker too
In fs22 tho...
Awesome...is this Fendt 828 or ...and this colour suits well for the tractor!!🤗🤗
Fendt 936
I think they’ve enough bales made!! Looks a tad dry for wrapping though. Seen it not fermenting right due to it being too dry.
Richard Strain in the Netherlands they always wrap the bales of gras and hay because you can have that the Hay ferments because it’s to wet and it’s for security like here it’s Hay
Ivan Van Keulen, what we call haylage really then.

RICHARD LINFORD You and this one up and you ok and balck
Richard Linford
harika sistem...
Didn’t show him doing the headland!
Appears dry, not sure if fermentation will be complete, could this result in a moldy product?
Alex Shields it’s hay
No. The mold can't grow by lack of oxygen if the hay or grass is wrapped .
jacky bruckers not completely true. It can still mold. The process just takes longer. I’ve wrapped bales that had a 15-18% moisture before and when u cut them open 4 months later they had mold on the edges. Bales need to breathe to get the heat out example: moisture. So your keeping that moisture locked in hence molding
I don't think I've ever seen a front-mount windrower/rake before. This needs to be more of a thing, just as having a plow on the front and a harrow on the rear or seed-bed combination on front and planter on the rear also need to be more of a thing. What I would refer to as "poly-function" tractors is the wave of the future for at least mid-level farming. It's still not really possible with the larger implements, since most of them are draw-bar mounted for strength anyways. Some of the larger 'Deeres don't even have 3-point hitches on them. Just a draw-bar in the rear and a weight bracket on the front. I guess for the work they do, a 3-point and typical hitch are too weak, but the draw-bar is about as crude as you can get when it comes to mounting points. It's just old-school brute force, which kinda doesn't do it for me anymore. It's no longer good enough to work hard. To compete in this world, you must work smart, lest you be replaced.
Why does the video title say silage when they are baling the hay? Silage gets blown into a silo.
Silage does not always get blown into a silo, I’m all my time doing silage I have never seen it blown into a silo
Multi-tasking
Nice
👌👍✌️💪🚜😊
Why didn’t they put a mower on the front of the rake just to keep the driver fully on his toes😜he has no time to text his loved 1.s 😂
You cannot attach anything to the front of a windrower. Their design kinda prevents that from happening. You could put a mower deck on the front and run a tedder on the rear, but that's as close as you're gonna get, especially considering that the central discharge of most mowers is not in need of windrowing. There's no point in windrowing a windrow, if you get my drift. Tedding is still useful, however, and I would see no problem in having a front-mounted tedder and a rear-mounted windrower. That would make more sense than what you're suggesting.
Been honest and not been rude i was jokin about the mower goin on the front,,,wat I really feel is that he has more than enough goin on never mind any more, thanks for the reply and keep the videos coming👍
@@liamfanny9802
,
With a mower you would need a drying unit instead of a rake. We're telling about hay after all.

Hey i got you were being humorous okay. Nevermind these other seriously serious people 😂😂😂
It s great, but one more machine would be greater.....👍
Fendt is best
I'm sorry but the width of the raking is NOT enough to operate the whole maschine with profit. Even not a first cut. A 360 PS tractor burn at least 50 Lt/h.
I think they had plenty of time to take it 1s

I grew up on a farm and I can tell you our environment needs more plastic wrap, like we need holes in our heads. Put it in a bunker or silo, enough with the plastic wrap.
thank you for saying this. This is such a waste and completely unnecessary.
What do you cover bunk silos with? Wool blankets?
@@plowmaster1206 I do apologize for my remarks. Please forgive me.
What is the pto speed
Sigurjón Vignisson i think 540?

the "normal" tractors, i mean the middleclaas models have on the front 1000 rpm and on the rear you can switch between 540 and 1000 rpm.
but i think the 936 has the function to switch between a high and low rpm on the front.
So this isn't farming simulator?? This is real life?
WHY WRAP DRY HAY???
To protect it from snow......I've seen it done heaps in the uk
@@michaelmaher7255 Yes, of course.!! We don't experience snow here, at all (just wildfires everywhere at the moment). Snow is not something I could have imagined.

Diese Plastikberge... Unglaublich...

Its seems like factory farming to me
Yes, you are right. In many European countries farmers disappeared nearly completely and have been replaced by a farming industry. Of course, these agricultural factories are interested in profit, and so they do not hesitate to wrap such bales and to pollute the environment. And to use ugly black tractors.
