Okey. I recently got a startup error in my pc after I install a game. So I decided to reset my pc without losing any data. This is what I got. As he mentioned I lost some of my apps like browsers, Adobe apps, python launchers, Some games, my security applications, etc. But I have all my data from the others drives. I mean it only reset the C folder. I have my files in others drivers. I just have to install apps to launch them. And there is a list if lost applications in desktop too. So i can install then one by one. And all my download files are safe. Witch means i dont have to download all of the romoved apps because i have the setups in there. And documents are safe like game save files. I dont save my documents to device so they are in my one drive. But i think nothing happen to them either. Only disadvantage is you have to spend a little time to set up your pc and install important apps. That is it. This is my experience. And my pc have windows 10. Hope this will help.
One tip: Uninstall and delete everything that's not related to windows and then reset, it'll be done resetting within an hour or two. That's what I did, my storage is 1TB HDD. Hope it helps you all.

@MrPotato I'm sorry for the previous comment because i was wrong if you chose to keep the files then the C drive will not delete any personal files and applications on them. However it is advised to take a backup incase of corruption during reinstallation of OS.

Just backup your games in another drive. Go to steam directory and copy all games to another drive.
