Michael Romeo has used the OCD for many years. Romeo is the king of metal. Forever, the big 3 overdrives were: OCD, Tubescreamer, and Boss SD-1. If you had those 3 pedals, you had it covered.
Great review Jarrod 👏 I was actually going to get the SLO pedal which is over 200.00 but now that u did a kick ass demo I think I will get this ODD pedal .🎸🎶🍻👍
Hey dude, because of you, I am getting an ODD Box. Thanks for another great vedeo. By the way, I picked up a Highwind Amplification Direwolf pedal and I love it. It's so versatile.
Try stacking an OD that trims some bass into it and you can get great metal tones from OCD(OCD based) pedals (into a clean channel using the ODD/OCD as a core tone, so using it like an amp in a box pedal)
Thanks for the good review Jarrod, I've been wanting to Get an OCD pedal to try out with some new Amps but didn't want to pay the some of these Higher selling prices since Fulltone closed. This looks to be a solid option now. I just ordered one through your link!
I probably need to replace mine. Its so beat-up, i have the V2. But the prices went crazy with the OCD. This sounds great, i think i will go this route instead of paying some stupid price for a fulltone.
I have pedals that can get ultra tight like my Buxom. The ODD Box seems pretty fat. Can the Mud Killer be that fat? I agree with your tastes changing and having variety which is why I like having a lot of pedals, speakers, pickups and so on. Totally agree.
@@TONEWARSgearshow Thanks for giving me that nugget of info. My Buxom does the tight sculpted thing for my needs. I'm looking for a pedal like the OCD/ODD to slam, add feel and add fat. The Direwolf I am really enjoying. I hope you get to try it. Side note, the Golden Pearl is the best pedal I've found for my Bogner 20th Anniversary Shiva. It's so accurate what you said about having a collection of Boosts and ODs. They are all flavors and it's nice to have the variety. I like that approach you have.
@@Bognerman14 My pleasure! I'm glad you found the information useful. a lot of people think all overdrive pedals are the same but I can definitely tell you that they are not. every amp needs a certain type of pedal to boost it for your taste and having a collection definitely comes in handy
Lol. I've been using an OCD for about 10 years as a clean boost for a 94 Tremoverb and Triple rectifier. I've had dozens of others, and the OCD stays. Not sure why the OCD hate. My Maxons and Tube Screams dont compare. I like what you say. It doesn't totally re eq to a point where the amp changes so much you dont recognize. Watch the OCD turn into an iconic pedal now that they have gone out of business. Not sure how the warm audio compares and to what revision of OCD. There are several.
Hi Jarrod. I have been using the Boss Waza craft SD-1 as my main overdrive pedal for a while. Do you think this OCD pedal is a better pedal and will it offer me a different flavour so to speak. Just didn’t want to waste the money if it’s not beneficial. It does sound great but so does everything you play through .
Good question...without a direct shootout I couldn't give you a definitive answer..but I will say that the odd box is the most unique pedal I've ever used
Man, I don't get why no one ever considers a Boss Fa1 fet booster (or more realistically one of its affordable clones): it's FET based, has treble, bass, cut Switch around 100hz and volume knob with 26db output. Dave Murray's used one throughout the 80's...its not a pedal for The edge/U2 fans only.
Man. you let the jack out of the box and told everyone. Man I love this pedal. Can't wait to get one !! What cables(brand) are you using on the effects and from your guitar?
Thanks for the heads up. I bought one because of your video. In UK Mode it adds a glassier and more tube effect to my modelers. Again, thanks so much!
Love those Lynch Mob riffs . 🤘🏻. This pedal sounds great .
This pedals been used for years and on every board since 2002. Im glad you finally tried it.
That clip with MT15 sounds amazing.

Thanks for commenting... always good hearing from you.
Michael Romeo is such a great guitarist. One of my favorite players
@@TONEWARSgearshow I appreciate you. I always enjoy your videos. It's fun to interact and exchange ideas and opinions.
Congratulations on the sponsor videos! Hard work pays off man, keep it up!
Thank you!!
EHX OD glove is a very close to the original clone been out for years no one has really seemed to notice, its great
Seems like the ODD box would be good with the badlander doesn't take a lot of low end out.
Exactly! I should do a video on that

This pedal is now my favorite OD pedal for my Badlander and Stealth. Great recommendation Jarrod!🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
Hell yeah!! It pairs with the Badlander perfectly
What settings for the badlander and odd??
Awesome demo!
Thank you
Your thumbnails are hilarious! 😂 I think I can see the irony :)... this is comparable to the thumbnail you made for your first tonex video. Lol

Love my OCD, had it longer than any of my other drives.
Man that ch2 on the mt15 sounds brutal and violent

Cool pedal. I would love to know how different is compared to Maxon 808X.

Thanks for commenting. the mud killer cannot get as fat as the ODD box. it's a lot more tight and sculpted.l

Bro, I have and use my OCD pedal, and it is a great pedal to use on Hi-Gain amps.
Ended up getting the OCD v1.4 that this the warm is based on. Couldn't do the clone.
man WA has been putting out nothing but hits for the last few years
I really want to check out more of their pedals
OCD pedal is a misunderstood pedal. It's a good OD pedal to keep, and works good with other OD pedals.
Finally tried the ODD on my Stealth. Fucking awesome pedal

For my cables, I got a kit on Amazon. Sorry, I forgot the name
How does this compare to the devils triad overdrive?
Good question..I'll have to shoot them out
Plz no clean channel on any amp just awful
