It's none of my business, but, I don't think you should try to rush back to Florida just to do a product review. You need to get used to the new rig and the setup. That, it seems to me, is NOT something to rush. Either the company can give you more time, or you can send back their product. Take your time. When people are rushed and anxious is when bad things happen. So happy for you two and I'm sure Tammy will appreciate her bedroom and closet space pretty soon.
Dont listen to a dealer about towing capacity some will always say you have plenty of vehicle so buy the trailer I am trying to sell you. Calculate your gvwr and all your belongings and judge it by what your truck is rated for, total towing capacity and also very important what tounge weight your rear axle is rated to carry.
That Gen is awesome. Just my humble opinion. I would definitely keep it. It's quiet and has great power for everything in your new rig. If you trade it for a smaller one, it will work harder. You never know when you need xtra help or things to power. That baby will run everything you'll need and then some. Hiodnto see you put it thru its paces.
Great video as always Tim! You might need a soft starter with your new RV depending on how much bigger the AC is if at all. The weak link in any RV / Generator setup is the AC startup current. Nice rig, I wouldn't worry much about weight. I think the crusher is hefty enough to handle it. You'll have to figure out by trial and error how it tows best. I have a dual fuel gen as well, wouldn't leave home without it. Only thing I would add to your rig is a second propane tank, and maybe a cap for the pickup bed. Stay safe brother and CRUSH IT!
If you are concerned about maxing out the payload of the truck, could you place some of the items you carry in the bed/cab of the truck inside the new camper when you are pulling it? Maybe over the axles or slightly behind as to not add any more tongue weight?
Only thing I would add if you are planning on using it for power outages are 5 more 5 gallon fuel cans filled with non ethanol gasoline or lots of propane. I keep 35 gallons of gas at the ready and rotate them out over time just by adding the gas to my truck if I do not need it for the generator. They will keep for about 2 years with stabile.

A generator is handy thing. Making stop over and off grid camping easy. Thanks for the video.
Easy solution for weight issue, just go buy a bigger truck 👍🤣😎

Keep it or return it for a better one, you are stressing yourself out on all this weight, relax your gonna be fine, you’re truck is a beast!😎
OK sounds good. Just got an email from the RV dealer telling me won’t be ready to pick up until Wednesday morning 10:30 AM.😎

Definitely a keeper. 👍😎
I actually run a predator 3500 on my 30amp RV. On beach trips in FL the AC runs most of the night and it lasts about 11 hours on a tank of gas.
Florida man should not need AC in the Georgia mountains.
How is that bathroom tear out coming along?
I have a Ryobi gas generator for emergency use only,,no way I would ever buy that freight train. All you need to go with that is a train horn

Seems loud for an inverter generator? I have 2 champion 2000 watt inverter generators that are very quiet?

Yes I plan on doing that. 👍😎
One thing I like about a larger Generator is more run time with a larger tank.
Wei said Tim. Keep crushing it!
Predator 5000 has a recall. Check with Harbor freight. They are notifying customers and it’s only certain SKUs and PO numbers.
Great generator ! I can hear it in Australia 🇦🇺 👍

@@justagirlnamedshawn Every 2 years. No longer than that. Possible could go longer but never had an issue at 2 years.
@@justagirlnamedshawn 👍
Just get a 100lb propane tank and never worry?
Hope it powers your bigger camper like it does this wolf Pup
Keep the 5000 over the 3500. You might need the extra watts for that bigger 12v fridge/freezer too.
👍😎
You can NOT run two AC units with that 5000 unit you gotta step up to 9000 unit or higher
Prefer my winnebago...built in Onan generator.
My ears hurt…😂😂😂😂
Your gonna want a bigger truck once you start towing the new camper
Have the same watch, about to have the same generator. 😂
3600 RPM. Ugh, you won't be very popular in an RV camp. Most will run 1800 RPM.
watts
Yes - 13 volts
Should have bought a Ford. lol
Wednesday! I can’t wait till Wednesday! Now Sherry and I are not gonna get any sleep for 3 days! LOL🤣😂🥲
