I really miss Brian Connolly's vocals, stage presence and his handsome smile etc. This guy ok, but there will only be one Brian Connolly . He had an awesome voice. RIP... Brian. You lead Sweet's songs well.

First album (yes.. Album) I ever bought.. Desolation Blvd. This was not a song on the radio, but I loved the song the first time I heard it.

great song from a great dvd mal on vocals replace steve priest when he decoided not to rejoin sweet.in 1985.on bass he sings for slade now great rocking sweet/nice and heavy.bodo on drums to be fair only joined and steve mann on keys and guitars with bodo played in michael shenkers band

Amazing performance. Cut the ainger some slack. Ok he is not Brian Conolly but he is perfoming amazingly. He is not only decent but does some great vocals and has equally great stage presence. Stop the comparisons.

In Australia, AC/DC, who had just completed the _High Voltage_ sessions at the J. Albert & Sons studios with then-new lead singer Ronald Belford "Bon" Scott when the _Fanny Adams_ sessions commenced, were considered a pop act in their native market; and Scott occasionally donned drag to match lead guitarist Angus McKinnon Young, whose school-uniform image got the popular vote of the market. AC/DC covered a lot of American R&B for Aussie viewers in the early '70's, and an ironically-namesake Nicholas Barry Chinn/Michael Donald Chapman song written as the basis for a Sweet single could've been a go-to for an LGB audience in the Sydney, NSW, AUS, area. Wonder how raucous a drag-ball crowd might have been for this one. In reality, Joan Jett, a real-life lesbi, did a fairly convincing job on the Blackhearts' cover version Stateside.

you can't beat the original sweet don't get me wrong this version is ok for me not good
great song - very dull rendition! this guitar solo is technically OK but is lame. the singer had one spot about 2/3 way though where he was OK for a 3 second scream. the problem is that this version was done around 16 years after the original version of the song came out and it sounds like a good high end wedding band version of the song instead of what they could've done with it in 1991. sweet is the band that set the way for all the bands that were huge in 1991 with their first few records - up through "give us a wink". i would love to see a live version of them doing this song live anywhere or anytime between 73 and 75 - i've looked but haven't found anything yet.

The drummer is not near as good as Mick Tucker. Adequate, but not as good. IMHO, Tucker is the most under rated drummer of the 70's.
Mal.dies a decent job....But Paul Mario Day was better
