    So funny. I was born and raised in England, lived there to the ripe old age of 29. Now I live in the USA and am 72-years-old and it is funny to hear someone refer to their "domestic science teacher" 😀 I know where you're coming from, they taught us well back then. Nice project here, Thank you ♥

      Ha ha! Glad it bought back memories! My DS teachers were a bit scary but I never forgot what they taught me! c x

      YEs, I feel such an idiot. Only discovered it by accident when I forgot to reset the stitch width. All these years I've been struggling to line things up neatly! c x

    Love this method. Can someone explain why do you skip the lockstitch step until the end? I'm new to sewing. Thanks.

      It was purely personal choice to avoid too much white thread on a blue background. You will need to secure all seam stitching with either method; lockstitch is probably quicker but pulling the threads to the same side and knotting is less visible, c x

    It must be because I’m left handed I do opposition with lining up the foot ? Or maybe I’m both ampedecris…

      I'm left handed too but as most stuff is designed for righthanders I mix and match depending on what's most comfortable, c x

    Which are the best fabrics for scrunchies?

    • @SewistChannel
      @SewistChannel  3 роки тому +1

      Either 100% cotton or a polycotton. You can use velvets and silks but leave a bigger seam allowance as they seem to fray more easily, c x
