Grab a key fob bag from Silent Pocket. They are basically a faraday cage in a bag, makes it easy to program prox keys without having to leave them outside the vehicle. Awesome video as always!
Great job as always Jay, it went pretty smoothly once you gave it that boost; you’re right I guess they are power hogs! That was one heck of a long Allen wrench too 😂
Great Video Jay, haven't had the pleasure of working on a Mazda yet. What's your thoughts on putting a jump pack on a car from the get go, to maintain the current power level of the battery while programming in a new key?
I usually do with Mazda's but, I have a booster pack that went bad and I'm waiting for the new one to come in. If you noticed, I had to run jumper cables off my van. But yeah.. I was being lazy :) It started with over 12 volts.
Great video man, thanks for helping out! I have a question - If a customer has an original working key, but wants to erase other working keys, can his original key be reused after performing "All keys lost", or will it refuse it, since it's "in use in another car"?
hello, thanks for the video, I need your help, I deleted my native key, now I can’t open the door and close it and not start, I can only see the device
Great information there. I just wish when you looked at key code you would cover a couple of numbers with your finger as it's not your car, and you just gave the key code to a few million viewers. ( just saying ). Customer privacy in this business is key 🔑. Same goes for other videos out there on UA-cam that show key code and then show immo pin code lmao I could just make a key and take their car with a Chinese cheap key programmer. I believe sensitive information should be kept out. You did a great job on explaining your steps but don't put your customers car on the line just for that extra ( not finger over the code ) step. Keep up the good work and I don't mean to offend anyone here. Just reminding people in this business about security details. Even though most car thieves know how to get that kind of information.
I understand where your coming from and I will put a finger over the last couple #'s. 1 thing. Can you geo locate where that car was and what good is a key code on a Prox key car ?
@@locksny sure I can I saw your van parked outside working on that car. Now I got key code, get the bitting from it cut the key open car use a Chinese knock off programmer and an ebay key and take your costumers car 🚗 see yah. See how easy that could be with the information provided now.
@@jorgemat8080 That house is an Air B&B and they were on their was back to the city. That thief is going to be driving around for a loong time looking for that particular car.
@@locksny You know what I mean. And that's one of the first things you learn when dealing with car security, you get thought to save and destroy sertain security information. But anyway I like the way you make your videos. Just wanted to point that out as I see some videos ( not yours ) that have key code, immo code and you can even clearly see vin number ( vin not as important ), those 3 things should not be in one video. Take care 🙂.
Thanks for the video. Your videos are very educational to someone that is just coming into the business, but do you ever wonder whether you might be relaying information to less scrupulous individuals? No judgement here, just curious about whether you have considered how the information that you provide is used.
If it wasn't my video, it would just be the 100 other available to watch. Just like most thieves know what cars have a chip and what doesn't. Take a good look at the "Kia Boys" videos here on UA-cam, 99% of Hyundai and Kia have no chips in them. They have a lot of people believing you can use a USB cable to take them, in reality it just makes it easier to turn what's left of the Ignition.
@@locksny No offense intended. I am someone that has decided that I would like to make a profession in the automotive locksmith industry and am concerned about security concerned with it. The equipment that I have bought thus far has cost me quite a bit and the idea of putting my intentions about my intent on the side of a van is scary when I think of the individuals that might want to steal my equipment for illegal use.

Great Video Jay, haven't had the pleasure of working on a Mazda yet. What's your thoughts on putting a jump pack on a car from the get go, to maintain the current power level of the battery while programming in a new key?
That would be the right thing to do from the beginning. Especially when he already knows that, when he states ( these are power hogs ).
I usually do with Mazda's but, I have a booster pack that went bad and I'm waiting for the new one to come in. If you noticed, I had to run jumper cables off my van. But yeah.. I was being lazy :) It started with over 12 volts.
@@locksny We all have those days.
All the more reason to have a battery charger handy. Especially on those long waits when it comes to registering new keys.
100%. My Booster Pack went bad and I was being lazy by not hooking up the truck.
Question is the key code in the same place on the 2021 mazda cx-30 it has emergency key blade cylinder on driver door
It should be.
How do you do your car key inventory?
I use Google sheet and keep an inventory and share it on cell phones and work computer. If it gets used, I know what to replace.

Erase and add it back in as a new key.
Awesome Jay! This was a Jem of info. Do you know what year Mazda started with the door lock code access? Thanks Brutha!
Are you talking about with removing the screw to pull the cylinder ?
@@locksny Yes
Hello , in case I have key from another accident car , can I renew this key to use with another car ?
Thank ypu
Yes
Surprised that worked. I didn't see him put his right foot in and take his right foot out.

Nice to see your getting caught up and making a few videos. You need to grab yourself an RFID bag you hiding keys when programming.
