I've done several of these 2021 Mazda CX-5 using universal Autel Ikeys with no message on the cluster. The reason you get the warning light is because you generated the wrong key. This one uses the newer style rectangular flat key. It's also very important to make sure you generate the correct button configuration. It will set the light if you program a 4 button key when the vehicle requires a 3 button or vice versa. Awesome video! Thanks for sharing!

Today I randomly lost both of my Mazda 3 2023 keys , 😂, I was worried and tried to generate but the transponder is the 6a for Mazda 3 idk if it's the same procedure to generate and program with km100 , Mazda 3 option for newer models isn't available.... Finally found them both lol

I got that malfunction message on a 2019 using the Autel key. I got it cleared by deleting it and using a UHS aftermarket key.

What about the Mazda ID49 smart key warning lamp clearing in the Special Function? Wouldn't that work to get rid of that warning?
