  • With the ongoing technological disruption, business models changing at a rapid pace. There are high expectations from the HR function in driving the business transformation through this disruption. The roles of HR are getting re-invented. What are the skills that will be required by HR in managing the ongoing transformation?
    As part of the Lets Talk Talent initiative, People Matters in partnership with Oracle asked leading people and business leaders about key skills that HR professionals must have.

    1. Understanding the business is top priority
    2. Need to become tech-savvy
    3. Ability to advocate the brand of the organization, internalize the business, and appreciate the interlock of business and talent processes
    4. Employee engagement skills and understand how to use IT technology
    5. Openness to learn and flexibility to adapt to changes, digitally savvy, advisory and consultative in their approach
    6. Reimagine employee experience and open to new ideas
    7. Connect business issues back to HR
    8. Understand business relevance of diversity
    9. Understand competitors and use external forums to learn

      I agreed, I have so many friends that are Indians. What amazed me is that, I have never met one Indian that wasn't kind, generous, SMART, and hard working. Whatever they are eating or drinking, I want some of that.

    I have observed that most of HR recruiter see the experience and not focused that how much skills they have for the position to be hired. If, someone has littler experience and possess other skills which is naturally born and develop through theory and has the the capability to apply in real setting may be more appropriate for the position

    Being an HR or being into HR consulting business is not that easy as it sounds. There is more to it then just conducting the interviews. An HR manager is like a first-hand officer to tackle all the grievances of the employees. He/she act as a link between the working resources (employees) and the higher management.

      In India first preference given to English speaking then his/her work.😌 But in other countries like China they want to natural skill they didn't want the candidate should speak in English like in our country.

      @@hkumarhk75 .it is because india is having many states with many regional languages i.e diversified culture...people know hindi bt cant speak ....english is choosen as official language because it had helped indian people and other foreign countries because of familiarity with english language
