I suspect that we get 3-4 minor factions; Phoebe with the white and blue is probably part of church faction or sentinel faction. (Based on the flavor text.) Brant and Roccia are probably some sort of Carnivale related faction, maybe the faction that hosts or organizes it. Zani is some sort of security personnel, be it police or maybe a guard. (Based on the outfit and the flavor text.) And lastly Carlotta may be some sort of nobility. (Someone on twitter wrote out about the history of the Carnevale about old nobility and new nobility power struggles around that time and what might be the story of Rinascita.)

I think it might be a lil diff with the weapons. Phoebe - broadblade, Roccia - rectifier, Brant - sword, Carlotta - gun and Zani - gauntlet. ALL I KNOW THO is im for SURE pulling for Zani, whether shes a 4 or 5 star, NEED my succubus tired goth security wife.

The "pistol" on his belt looks a bit like a Derringer type pistol. At least what I see from the shape of the gun.
Fun fact, Carlotta is Camelya's old model in the Beta, it was great that Kuro decided not to discard the design and used it on another character
