Thank you for this great instrument !! Funnily enough, the arpeggio actually comes from the drones. The granular effect of the S-4 generates them from the signal of Elmyra.

Thanks a lot mate !! not all .. there are also 2 droning samples on 2 tracks of the S4. But the arp for example is created with the granular effect of the S-4 out of the signal from Elmyra.

This is a question that is almost impossible to answer in general terms. So much depends on your taste, on whether you are a complete beginner or already know a little about synthesis and everything that goes with it... and the possibilities and devices are endless these days.
FOR ME the Digitone is the ambient machine par excellence. But I can't possibly judge whether the box is right for you.
