      My spray is taking my hair out! I poured hot water over Rosemary herbs, Lavender herbs, horsetail powder, bay leaves and fenugreek powder. I let it infuse overnight and added 1 cup of Aloe Vera juice, 1/2 cup organic rose water and approx. 2-tsp. glycerin. For E.O.'s I added a few drops tea tree oil, Rosemary, and 1 teaspoon of Amla powder. When I sprayed it on my hair my hair started coming out! I waited the next day and only applied plain water. No hair fall. Is my DIY concoction too strong? I use Mielle Rosemary oil and don't experience this problem. What did I do wrong?

    I do this too! I use herbal/flower waters with glycerin. Like rosemary, clove, rose, orange flower, lavender etc with glyercin. Then do aloe okra gel add a vwp or bag for an hour then go in with oils in the summer, butters in the winter from scalp to root. Always do oil on the scalp though!
    Though I do need to remeber to wrap my ends into small bantu knots when twists or braids are loose. I usually flat twist my twists or braids then wrap the flat twists into knots at the end. My ends super protected is the goal!

      Wow! you do this too? Amazing! I am happy I am not the only one. It works right? I can't flat twits but lately I am learning to do it on myself. I would if I knew how honestly. So I go for the braids or twists.

      @@BarbaraBirungiSunflower I usually have 30-70 individual braids/twists in then just twist them together into 2 flat twists. I can't cornrow/flattwist for anything so this is my compromise.
      Yeah I accidentally left my conditioner in for like 6 hours once decades ago and was like huh my hair is super soft. Did it on purpose a few months later with just my reg liquid and got similar softness and moisture retention and decided (when I remembered) this is the only way!
      Then got sucked into all the new trends and lost the og ish that WORKED for my hair when I was a teen. So going back to the og days. Like kimmaytube leave in, the GHE which you do in this video, overnight treatments and bringing back HENNA with Amla, coffee, and chebe as the boosters. Also going back in with my eos in my oil (castor oil or jbco is all I use now cuz og!)
      When I start my infused oil again it'll be grapeseed sunflower and castor oil mix as the base carrier oil.

      My dear, please check the description below and I will also make sure I do include everything I use in the description for my upcoming videos. I realise that sometimes I don’t include them because everyone has their own products that they are already using and I don’t want my viewers to be disappointed if the products I use don’t work for them. Thanks for letting me know about this

    Is Creme De Soin Au Karite DOP (cream) a leave in conditioner?

    • @BarbaraBirungiSunflower
      @BarbaraBirungiSunflower  3 місяці тому +1

      Thank you for watching. It’s a moisturizing cream- sort of a leave in conditioner basically adding more moisture to the hair. It has almonds and Shea

    Is it always washing and treating? Is there a time when you style and set it

    • @BarbaraBirungiSunflower
      @BarbaraBirungiSunflower  3 місяці тому

      I do share about my hair styles. They are just not many and I don’t spend much time manipulating my hair with styles. I keep it simple and that’s how I have grown my hair this long. My hair strand break easily so styling is not my thing if I can be honest. Every time I style my hair for a long period of time, i experience more breakage than when I leave the styling alone.

    Love it hun x is glycerine growing your hair? X

    • @BarbaraBirungiSunflower
      @BarbaraBirungiSunflower  3 місяці тому

      I mean your hair will appears to grow faster because it's not breaking off at the ends. So it helps stop breakage for curly thick and frizzy hair so no breakage equals hair growth right?🤷‍♀️

    Do the black women you see in France wear their hair natural?

    • @BarbaraBirungiSunflower

    My hair stays wet..I don't like glycerin at all....leaves it puffy and frizzy too....😮

    • @BarbaraBirungiSunflower
      @BarbaraBirungiSunflower  3 місяці тому

      Yeah. I get the puffiness and frizz. That’s why I like to use glycerine when my hair is in a protective style like twists or braids- that way I don’t experience the wetness and puffiness
