I've listened to the extracted quotes several times over, and I've watched the trailer. I still say it wounds more like Epcar than Zane in the trailer.
If you've played 3D Epcar has mastered a very good Zane impersonation. Unless you already knew it was a different voice actor you might not have realized it as being a different person.
Ok I guess I’ll be the one to say it thanks to all the retcons since BBS to DDD YOUR GOING TO GET SHOWN THE DOOR OLD MAN and boy did he directly get shown the door aka his own self as a heart terra was right after all
He did sound awkward, as he was being too hammy. Yes, Ansem needs to ham it up, but Epcar overdid it until he got used to the role in BbS, and he perfected the voice in 3D
Also, it proves that there's something wrong with your ears, because that was CLEARLY Billy Zane... like really, I don't know how you could have possibly mistaken that for Epcar.
Really? It sounded more like Epcar in the trailer, and to be honest if they have Zane in the KHFM part, and Epcar in the Re:CoM part, it'll be a jarring difference (as despite Epcar having mastered the voice there are still noticable differences between his and Zane's voice). And since they're back porting Ansem's new model, I see no reason for them to not do so with Ansem's new voice.
