I like to place a satchel on enemy nodes, works very well when they are close together. Much quicker. Also satchels remove barbed wire, bunkers, barricades, hedgehogs and Belgian gates. I like to put them on buildings where enemies are camping the steps. Walk up, place it on an exterior wall, and stand back. Satchels are tons of fun... too bad we can't put them on vehicles and do Jihad-Jeeps.
One of the most annoying aspects is rendering distance, if I am in cover I should not be visible. It makes corn fields and bushes useless vs. long range weapons. When I first played I was wondering how snipers saw me crawling through a corn field.
Then enjoy 50 to 70% of your player base gone that shit is horrible on your computer. With max rendering you can see tanks up to 1000km away and people at 600km that's plenty of far brother and yes you can still see cover, upgrade your pc
4:38 This is the most important tip, not only for this game but for almost every multiplayer game in existence. Maybe it's the newer generation but so many folks have an aversion to communication. Hell, lots of them even mute teammates as default. I suggest only muting others as a last resort and it should be on an individual as needed basis.
Another one you may not know, inside vehicles your out of map timer is 30 seconds vs 10 seconds. This allows fast vehicles like recon tanks to travel behind enemy lines in some scenarios where you are fighting at the edge of a map. I did this once as a squad leader, got picked up, dropped me off far behind the enemy defensive point and set up a back door garrison.
Had no clue about that engineer tip. A satchel charge will still be more useful for clearing fortifications. Being able to lock vehicles is definitely useful. Just have to hope not enough blueberries figure it out so we can keep the half tracks in their proper places. A better solution would be to only allow officers and commander to drive half tracks.
@@levelzeeThey really want them half tracks drove straight to the frontline and blown up. A fix would be remove mg on half track and put it on a transport truck
Great guide. Veteran player from the start of the kickstarter. Many new players need to watch this and learn to play the game as intended and this would do the trick. Kudos!
I thought you couldn’t drive away in a parked halftrack lmao this explains it. Commanders always park the half track somewhere nowhere near an intense firefight and that has always bothered me.
0:34 careful going on main road on some maps if the artillery has played the game before they might prefire there and kill everyone, happened to me multiple times even though I call it out.
Another thing to add about enemy mines: If you find an enemy AP mines you can shoot them to detonate them. You can cleverly kill enemies this way. AT mine you won't be able to detonate by bullets. You can detonate enemy AT mines with grenades though!
there is some glitch with red garrisons blocked. One case: the garrison was blocked in a almost flat position, and there was no enemy around it, yet it was blocked. This happens so often on german garrison, which i think has a glitch or bug around it.
I have 1048hrs in HLL as of writing this comment and I never knew you could lock halftracks. This will be a game changer against noobs that don't f***ing listen when you tell them to leave it the hell alone.
For measuring distance between garrys i just open the map and do a regular ping and it will show you the distance anyway, faster than putting down any other type of ping :)
Came back to say that I got a supply truck stuck on an artillery gun sitting is sort of a trench in hq. Front wheel went over the "leg" of the arty and the truck got hooked. I somehow got it unstuck after 10min.
I don't see a lot of people using the commendations. I tend to give mine to the new players or a low level player trying squad leader. I know, they tend to screw things up, but a little encouragement can go a long way.
I tested the locking half track one and it does not work unfortunately, it only unlocks it for yourself. Also just a suggestion... you should do a video debunking hll myths and I'll give ya one. There's a common myth that people say if a commander build a garrison then it takes longer to dismantle however, the reason actually is because the garrison is in a locked zone nothing to do with commander building it or not.
@@OscarLopez-sx8ij hm. Not sure what advantage that would have in the game. reloading SMG’s doesn’t take long at all in the game. and typically you’re reloading after several bursts once you get a feel for the weapon.
