I really thought of "yesss at last a performance full ZoomX midsole shoes that i can afford!" And then this haha Thanks so much for your review, J! Really appreciate.
It looks a lot like the original Zoom Fly 1. The midsole looks very thick like a super shoe for racing but I am disappointed to hear it doesn't have much propulsion. I heard the shoe is hard to bend and is very stiff. Do you think this shoe require more weight or force to utilize the plate?
It is pretty stiff and I’m not exactly sure what is needed to make the shoe better but it doesn’t seem like what they have now works that well at least in my opinion.
Zoomfly has gone downhill since the second version. Nike just can’t create shoes outside the Vaporfly and Alphafly (although I like v1 in many ways better than V2). Zoomfly 5 is a return for me since it’s a daily trainer and recovery shoe. Way too heavy and Zoomx isn’t a zoomx feeling. Endorphin speed is way better shoe all around. I look forward to the 3. I’m not sure why someone would buy this shoe with all the other options out there especially at the price.
I love Nike but not everything they're putting out is quality lately. For the most part its all about the money where they need to create a new version of every shoe just for the sake of it. There's too many options out there now and i don't even know frankly where this shoe would fit in my rotation.
Love it or hate it, at the end of the day, there’ll always be fans who don’t find the weight to be the pet peeve, and some runners like a firmer ride in their runs.
Agreed. ZF1 and ZF2 are great. And I have stopped there since. Still running in ZF2 but I think will be retiring it today. I hope Nike listens and ZF6 will be great again.
Absolutely love it, liked the Boston 10 too.. It’s man’s shoe I guess.. This will make u faster and stronger when you return to the race shoes.. Obviously got mine cheap and now I put it on Superblast level.. 88kg athlete..
Really enjoy the ZoomFly 5. Handles a range of paces with aplomb. I've done a 20 mile long run in them and they were sublime.
Good to hear Stephen! I’m glad they are working great for you.

Thank you! That’s what I thought as well but too good to be true
Sometimes looks are deceiving. What do you think about the ZF5?

Hi, can you please make a video on Asics Gel Kayano 29?
Nike should just take the invincible and put in a nylon plate... Not this brick
😀That would probably work better than this shoe.
