Can I get job in Australia as ICU registrar or medical officer after primary FRCA and total 6 years of anesthesia experience?? ( 5yr in India and 1 year in the UK) Please do the needful doc Regards
Hi, I need a small help from you. I am an anaesthetist graduated from India and working as a speciality registrar( staff grade) in the UK for the last 2 years. Which is the appropriate pathway for me to get australian registration if I have passed primary FRCA. Thanks for your help.
So far it’s been amazing, but there defo are cons. One of the main ones is actually getting into training, it isn’t a straightforward process and not necessarily any easier than the UK, depending on which specialty you choose
@thegasdoc4902 love a video on this!! I like ED and ACCS as options but couldn't do ED in UK hahaha and anaesthetics is hard to get into in AZ so maybe ED training in Australia?
Not currently as you need to have residency and full registration which you can’t get until at least a year I think. I will try as soon as I am eligible to apply though
@@thegasdoc Thanks for the reply. I've researched it pretty extensively. You need to work there for a year before you get the PR status needed to apply for a training post. I will probs do this during FY3. Good luck to you :)
I'm thinking about moving to another country or continent. any suggestions?
Uk has been a disaster since Brexit and I experienced it all and moved at the wrong time
Lol.

Are there any cons? Sounds like heaven for docs. Can you finish your training there?

I am planning to do the same. However, are you able to get a training number in your field?

Interesting video!! 😀
A 5 min taxi ride in london yesterday was 15 pounds Wtf for a few groceries was 18 pounds
Not happy in London ? Try Pyong
Yang . ! Everything's cheaper there . Either that or quit whingeing !!
You're comparing London to Adelaide?
Please chill with the background music. Otherwise i really enjoyed this video
40,000 doctor salary in England is terrible omg. In usa it would be 150,000
40k is a trainee's salary. A fully trained doctor can easily make 150k.
@@jimbocho660 What?! No they cannot in the UK!
Where are you initially from If I may ask?
Wtf the doctors and nurses and public sectors is too low in the uk is embarrassing.
Nurses salaries are criminally low but after the trainee stage doctors are very well paid.
London is horrible to live in..
And yet you go on living there ?
Are you being held hostage or what ? Who's stopping you leaving ?
