Migrants are definately a massive drain but they are not the reason. The reason is Tony Blair's government. 1 : They introduced the Tax Credits system which disincentivised companies from paying above minimum wage. Why would they if the taxpayer is going to massively subsidise their labour costs no questions asked? 2: They then SWAMPED, and I'm using that word deliberately because we all know the deception involved as they tried to fix future elections importing what were predicted to be by and large future Labour voters, this country with unskilled labour which is entirely dependant on Tax Credits to survive. Now I'm not demonising the workers, some work incredibly hard but a waiter in London for instance will pay roughly £80 a week tax and NI on a 40 hour week but then claim 3 or 4 times that in housing benefit and working tax credit. Times that by the millions who've come since 2004 and you have the answer to why more now take out more than they pay in.

@@stuartsteel1 Yes you’re right and in many cases that’s exactly what it is. Sometimes they’ll be all emotional and opt to burn their bridges (e.g., “later plebs” speech) or they might leave some doors open to come back it’s things don’t work out but if you are the company (or country) where you are losing some of your best people on a daily basis the issue is usually with the management and not the ones leaving.

Britain represents the rich and always has. It's not the politics of envy to see that the rich have never been richer and the poor have never been poorer! It's about wanting a fairer society. WOW! radical! Look at when ordinary people's lot was significantly better.
That’s so true, I’m working so hard in the UK and when I see that my income is going to the tax or to people who decides to live on benefits… that’s really painful and shameful! Time to leave UK.

“Who’s left paying in? Not many people.” Yes, when the vast majority of ordinary workers are paid poverty wages there aren’t many people paying in…the solution to that is obvious.
I kove this country but sadly i agree with that lady 100%
I agree with this woman,I have been looking to move abroad, try and find the best country to go to ,don't want to live in a country where free speech isn't really allowed, the schools are going all woke ,politians are terrible, can't seem to do anything, about the migrants, I have worked all my life paid my taxes and saved hard to be able to be morgage free, for what ,15 min cities, told I can't drive my car,get an electric one,the country is done
The question should be "Does Britain give a fudge about the British natives?" Obviously it's NO.
HAHAHAHA I CACKLED ONCE I FOUND OUT SHE'S GOING TO DUBAI
Posh bint. Cleaner? Gardener? Private school? Dying laughing
Especially if you are a foreigner, always think that you are dodgy if you are doing good and are prosperous.
100%....we need to take the country back .......
Scroungers at the top , scroungers at the bottom . Everyone in the middle pays for this , and the lower downs in the middle pay the most .
I don’t resent the rich, I resent people that make no contribution to society or the tax system but are happy to accept handouts
Well if we all leave there will be no- one to pay for the benefit scroungers or the dinghy divers, what will they do then? I was planning to buy a shop with living quarters until lockdown hit, now with the cost of mortgage and business rates sky high I have changed my mind, this country doesn’t help anyone trying to make a living
Example a rent free bungalow tenant receiving a free people carrier not worked in the last 30 years living high on the hog when i reported him for having a job i was asked his national insurance number as they couldnt do anything without it the system is in their favour
We don't resent the rich,we resent the rich who have things put in place so they can deliberately avoid paying there fair share, tax loopholes put there deliberately for only the wealthiest to take advantage of.and they do
Well they aren’t only for the wealthiest.
Hard working people no longer respected just laughed at
This lady is spot on. It would be much worse under a Labour Government. We have too many migrants that the government refuse to deal with. We have too many people too lazy to work that the Government is happy to support with money from us that actually do work.
This is not a Tory Government!
Wow. I agree with her ✓
Country has gone mad, on the one hand we a social welfare system and on the other an open border in all but name. Can't have both. I suspect many people are thinking like this lady however the grass isn't always greener over the hill you don't really know much about.
My advice to these people is resist the change here, revert the changes we have been made to accept, the country does indeed need you more than you need it currently. Running away is an easy choice but not the morale choice, if that matters to you.
Vote Reform
I would like someone to tell her that Ai is replacing workers. As such people will come to rely more and more on the government likely leading to UBI. Who will pay for that? Will it still be "benefits" when there are no jobs for people to escape their poverty? Just something to think about.
We are accelerating towards AGI and the technological sigularity so we should be introducing a UBI now.
Who has AI replaced?
Woman who most likely voted Brexit now wants to leave to an EU country 😅
You have no idea how she voted.
Or she was living in the EU and didn't support Brexit, and was not allowed to vote, had to return to the UK, and wants to leave again. Just like me, planning my escape in July 😊 for good
I totally agree. The lady is not wrong.
