It just caused me to become emotionally invested into men who looked at me as a girl they were causally having sex with.. Just this year I have rededicated my life to Christ! When I tell you God placed a man into my life unexpectedly who is EVERYTHING that I’ve ever prayed for! He is patient with me, genuinely cares about me, and most importantly shares the same faith and values as me! Isn’t God funny?! Long story short, God never leaves or forsakes us! He hears every single one of our prayers and knows our hearts and our desires! God wants us to first establish a relationship with him! He wants us to truly get to know him, continue to be faithful and be patient! When God feels like you are ready, he will place the right person into your life! He did it for me, and so many others! 🤗

It really takes a toll on your self-esteem: you think you’re not pretty and you wonder if you’ll ever find someone. Although I have not met anyone yet, here’s my advice: Continue to pray about the guy that God has for you. Make sure you put yourself out there too. Don’t just go to church on Sundays but go to church meetings during the week and make sure you talk to people. Don’t just go to women’s meetings-go to church meetings where both men and women are there. Make sure you put yourself together. Lastly, a big thing is confidence. People are drawn towards people who are sure of themselves. If you’re not naturally confident ask God to show you how to be confident and He will help you. I’ll be applying to medical school this year so hopefully God brings me a guy there. To be honest, with the career path I have chosen, a boyfriend may get in the way until I’m ready to focus on a relationship. You never know what God is saving you from. Just continue to trust Him and believe that He has the perfect guy for you! ❤️

But now we are in a serious relationship and we are best friends. My advice is stop looking for a boyfriend and open yourself to real friendships with good guys around you. I can relate on so many levels. I’m 23 and although I’ve been on dates and kissed a few guys, I’ve never found that person to take the next step with and get into a relationship. I feel like I have the experience to write a book but honestly I really thank God for closing the doors that weren’t meant for me to walk through. Looking back, I can totally see that all along God was in my corner shielding me from what wasn’t meant to be and I’m truly grateful. All my peers where caught up in so much relationship drama... and I was just living my life. :D I was 24 when I had my 1st boyfriend, and it was short lived. I was 25 when I met my now husband. He shares my beliefs and morals and I couldn't have been blessed any greater. Keep true to yourself and your beliefs. Also, keep your confidence up. Don't ever be afraid to tell someone you like them. You may get 'friend zoned' but at least you are honest... and it could be the beginning to a relationship.

Coming from a single 30 year old, the christian or even the dating game these days is really hard and i find alot of guys want a date but dont want to commit. Also people are scared to even ask for coffee because they think well get the wrong idea or be all oooo he lead me on because we went for one coffee as well. But I also know id rather be 30 and single and waiting for the right one and not 30 and in a failed marriage or having settled for someone who treats me like crap etc.
I'm 30, never had a boyfriend and never kissed any guy. I'm proud of that as I want to save my love for my husband only. So I've kept like this intentionally. Like devout Christians, I've devoted my soul to God and stay within his boundaries. I'm a Muslim. I've had many tempting opportunities but never heeded them. I have sober and clean fun e.g. socialising with friends, baking, dancing, watching films etc. I look up to 10 years younger, get told that I'm pretty and have a charismatic personality. Guys take interest in me but they usually don't tick that crucial box which is staying within the bounds laid down by God. I've asked my friends to keep an eye out for me but they tell me they don't know anyone who's compatible and say they'd want someone special for me as I don't deserve less. I've tried online searches and was interested in someone who I met only once but he had self esteem issues and seemed to be afraid to let me in emtionally so naturally things ended. It's a struggle to find someone who I find attractive and is a believer in God (would be open to marrying a Unitarian Christian, Orthodox Jew or devout Muslim). The hookup culture has made things very difficult. I also have a number of friends that are like me and are also struggling to find the right guy. I am content being the way that I am and staying true to God and myself. I sleep soundly at night, don't have any baggage and dislike drama. İf marriage is meant to happen for me it will, if God wills. It isn't always easy to be celibate but I have so many things to be grateful for and my heart and mind is open to marriage. What matters is having the right mindset and making an effort then trusting in God. I think many of us need to make a stronger effort to make more friends and ask for help. You never know which doors might open that way. Stay strong, be patient and pray lots. Best wishes!

She is an absolute treasure! I feel like she’s at a tough age where guys want to be free, and women are feeling like they want to explore a commitment. She’s not a play-around type of gal...that might be a turn off for guys who want to date and play the field. She sounds a lot like me. I’m a 22 year-old Christian and I have never had a boyfriend. It really takes a toll on your self-esteem: you think you’re not pretty and you wonder if you’ll ever find someone. Although I have not met anyone yet, here’s my advice: Continue to pray about the guy that God has for you. Make sure you put yourself out there too. Don’t just go to church on Sundays but go to church meetings during the week and make sure you talk to people. Don’t just go to women’s meetings-go to church meetings where both men and women are there. Make sure you put yourself together. Lastly, a big thing is confidence. People are drawn towards people who are sure of themselves. If you’re not naturally confident ask God to show you how to be confident and He will help you. I’ll be applying to medical school this year so hopefully God brings me a guy there. To be honest, with the career path I have chosen, a boyfriend may get in the way until I’m ready to focus on a relationship. You never know what God is saving you from. Just continue to trust Him and believe that He has the perfect guy for you! ❤️

Girl, I relate. I was always the buddy. I personally was ok with that. I enjoyed hanging out and being with my friends, without all the pressure and drama. All my peers where caught up in so much relationship drama... and I was just living my life. :D I was 24 when I had my 1st boyfriend, and it was short lived. I was 25 when I met my now husband. He shares my beliefs and morals and I couldn't have been blessed any greater. Keep true to yourself and your beliefs. Also, keep your confidence up. Don't ever be afraid to tell someone you like them. You may get 'friend zoned' but at least you are honest... and it could be the beginning to a relationship.

Coming from a single 30 year old, the christian or even the dating game these days is really hard and i find alot of guys want a date but dont want to commit. Also people are scared to even ask for coffee because they think well get the wrong idea or be all oooo he lead me on because we went for one coffee as well. But I also know id rather be 30 and single and waiting for the right one and not 30 and in a failed marriage or having settled for someone who treats me like crap etc.
I'm 30, never had a boyfriend and never kissed any guy. I'm proud of that as I want to save my love for my husband only. So I've kept like this intentionally. Like devout Christians, I've devoted my soul to God and stay within his boundaries. I'm a Muslim. I've had many tempting opportunities but never heeded them. I have sober and clean fun e.g. socialising with friends, baking, dancing, watching films etc. I look up to 10 years younger, get told that I'm pretty and have a charismatic personality. Guys take interest in me but they usually don't tick that crucial box which is staying within the bounds laid down by God. I've asked my friends to keep an eye out for me but they tell me they don't know anyone who's compatible and say they'd want someone special for me as I don't deserve less. I've tried online searches and was interested in someone who I met only once but he had self esteem issues and seemed to be afraid to let me in emtionally so naturally things ended. It's a struggle to find someone who I find attractive and is a believer in God (would be open to marrying a Unitarian Christian, Orthodox Jew or devout Muslim). The hookup culture has made things very difficult. I also have a number of friends that are like me and are also struggling to find the right guy. I am content being the way that I am and staying true to God and myself. I sleep soundly at night, don't have any baggage and dislike drama. İf marriage is meant to happen for me it will, if God wills. It isn't always easy to be celibate but I have so many things to be grateful for and my heart and mind is open to marriage. What matters is having the right mindset and making an effort then trusting in God. I think many of us need to make a stronger effort to make more friends and ask for help. You never know which doors might open that way. Stay strong, be patient and pray lots. Best wishes!

She is an absolute treasure! I feel like she’s at a tough age where guys want to be free, and women are feeling like they want to explore a commitment. She’s not a play-around type of gal...that might be a turn off for guys who want to date and play the field. All I can say is, I spent a good part of my twenties barking up the wrong trees, sacrificing myself, and getting my heart broken...ya gotta stay true to your worth and trust that the wait will be worth it when your true person comes along.
