fr. Newer t2 players have a huge opportunity to just simply learn on the reserve roster, sure they don't get to play but at the same time there's no stress involved. I'm actually shocked more teams don't do this.

The model is not sustainable imo.

I find it truly ironic everything people bashed EG for genuinely helped them in their path to success and winning champs.
-Some people criticized potter and wanted to fire potter, then potter is one of the huge reasons for their champs win
-Everyone memed their 10 man roster but it in turned helped them scrim and innovate new strats

Having a reserve roster is so important during long runs in tournaments. During the League of Legends World finals last year, DRX was scriming academy teams before their final against T1.

One thing I thought was curious too was the flexibility of agents each player had. EG did something that I don’t know if anyone else did all year long. Most teams have their flash initiator flexing to other roles (smokes, sentinel duelist etc.) Ethan exclusively played flashes I believe from Tokyo onwards, while EVERYONE else would flex to smokes in addition to their specializations, (c0m Sova, Demon1 Jett, Jawg Raze etc). Their agent pool imo just proved to be too much for everyone

I've been wondering since the anounced the 10 man roaster... wouldn't you be able to achieve something similar with just a second team? Like "Main" vs GC ? GC teams are like T4 at best and 100 times worse than the main team. EG's team is around a T2 level most likely so they're decent practice.

Demon1 is insane but without the rigorous training implementation potter had, he can't just "bring confidence into the team" and expect to win against other top tier players and strategy lol. Discrediting potter and attributing the team success to just demon1 shows how shallow your understanding is.

then why wasn't yay capable of bringing the confidence of dsg players?

@unzero3274 Potter is insane but without Demon1's raw skill, Potter can't just "make the team better". Discrediting Demon1 and attributing the team's success to only Potter shows how shallow your understanding is.
