You have the option to either remove the left cast iron wing (which would require cutting the rails) or attaching the slide directly to the left wing (no cutting required). I installed mine without making any changes to my saw.
I can't handle the guy doing the presentation. He is doing the salesman technique of tossing in "Right?" at the end of a ton of sentences to get the other person used to saying yes. I have to walk away from those people. The product looks great though.
Do it yourself videos are always enjoyable for watching. But you shouldn't expect the result of your 1st project will be similar as you found at the end of the video. If you really desire to build woodwork project, and build it successfully, you need a comprehensive manual. It could help you save $, time and effort and hard work, together with promise your success.
Amazing how in 5 years the price went from $999 to $1199
Not that bad, I bought a jet band saw last year 1799, now 2599, ridiculous on the government money printing part.
ITS $1,399 NOW
Right.... right!
Might have been nice to see it in action.
Right?
He ist talking about all the first and biggest and greatest things this saw has, meanwhile at Altendorf they had all the features a long time ago...
At a similar price, I assume... Hardly.
@@gmark8927 well maybe not by Altendorf, I guess Felder is more in a similar price range
I do not want to cut my saw rails. I hope this fit issue has been resolved.

This is a really nice slider. However, the sales rep needs to stop being so pushy and cocky. Good equipment sells itself.
