Hello, everyone, and welcome back. As you all know, today is All Hallow's Eve, better known as Halloween. So today, I bring to you a little something that once made Call of Duty Zombies scary back in the days of World at War. These are the spooky sounds that are heard in Nacht Der Untoten; they can also be heard in the WaW and BO1 versions of Verrückt and Shi No Numa. If you like this video, please like, comment and subscribe whenever you can, and have a happy and safe Halloween. That will be all for today. Until next time, goodbye, my friends.
@@DrR1cht0f3n Are there specific spots you have to be to hear these sounds? Because I swear I've never heard a few of these and I play Nacht Der Untoten quite a bit.
0:40 to 0:54 Comes just after you finished a round in the higher levels. Started to think instead the difficulty gets intense, ghost comes rather instead. Cuz we're all scared to die by every zombie in every round, getting scared by ghost at last be something
It's either industrial or natural. Saws grinding and big doors creaking, or the surrounding areas being tormented by the same scourge that traps you. One is creepy but harmless. The other Ooh boy.
But honestly I fucking miss the creepy sound effects in Zombies. It was always so interesting. Like the whispers in Shi No Numa, the screaming on Verruckt, the Industrial sounds from Nacht and the Crying woman on Der Riese to knocking on Kino. Gosh as small as the WaW maps where, the sounds made up for it.
Someone should use these sounds for a horror short film! Great job sharing these! Also, nice Zombified Clementine picture! Really got me spooked! 👍🏻👍🏻 Edit: the noise at 0:06 gives me some chilling Cloverfield vibes.
ShizukaShizuka! We wish we knew but I’m afraid there’s likely no way of finding out exactly how the developers made these sounds, considering the game is now a decade old and Treyarch may as well be a different company by now.
in COD WAW, some of the sounds are like broken or something, like these sounds they are named "Spooky" and they wont open for an average music player. any way to fix that?
supdude239 If you’re using Media Player or whatever, don’t. It doesn’t seem to work with most files which I’ve realised recently so use VLC or something instead.
They’re not broken, they’re just encrypted differently. (xwma I think) WAW has an abundance of them that are like this. Their is a program to convert these, but I’d have to check to see if I still have it. (it’s been a long time since I’ve messed around with them again)
DF Ah, that explains it. I’ve also noticed that literally none of the sound files for BO1 play properly either so I’m guessing they’re all encrypted differently?
@@fagglebag I looked again and it turns out I was right. Some (but not all) of WAW's sound files are encoded in xwma format. That's why they don't work in most media players unless you convert them. Of course, I am only talking about the sounds in the IWD files, I don't even know what the FF files use. Here is that program that can convert WAW's xwma files to wav: drive.google.com/open?id=1pjUWJf9WeNCNgWPTvYpWw57eOSAWEPTE I cannot find the original link to where I got it originally, so I uploaded for ya'll.
As for Black Ops, assuming you're talking about the sounds in the IWD files, they're just headerless wav files, which of course don't work on most media players as well. A program called "bo_rip_fix" can convert them to readable wav files. Here is the link to it: www.moddb.com/games/call-of-duty-black-ops/downloads/bo-rip-fixreproduced-version

1: I will gladly take your request, but it will take a while.2: Thanks for subscribing. I hope you enjoyed this video, especially during the end.
@@dan78789 What a pity. I gone to his channel before he deleted it. He got every sound file from Zombies. Idk why he abandoned his channel

It's either industrial or natural.
Saws grinding and big doors creaking, or the surrounding areas being tormented by the same scourge that traps you.
One is creepy but harmless.
The other
Ooh boy.
Back when zombies was scary.
I never noticed a lot of these sounds like the weird distant bell sound.
This is where it all started my first time playing zombies 😟
I fear no man...but that, *thing* (Nacht der untoten and Minecraft cave ambience noises) it scares me.
That little child scream freaked me out dude
First one
That jumpscare almost grave me a heart attack
Also it came from the walking dead
That's right. I call it the Zombie Clementine Jumpscare. Impressive, isn't it?
Lee Walton great job I like it :)

Those poor marines....
Natch der untoten sucks
Said no one ever.

They had us in the first half not gonna lie
@@majorsy-0325 hehehe
I used to think verruckt was the scariest map. No longer........ 😨😨😨
It is though.
Lol
Thanks for bringing me back to my childhood
These sounds give me good vibes from COD WAW and Black Ops 1, 2, and 3 zombies. BO4 is just trash
Until Ancient Evil came around

Can anyone tell me what some of these sounds are, and how they were made/recorded? I am so interested!

@@fagglebag I assume the opening crying sounds are stock sound effects as they are also used in FNaF.
Happy Halloween
Happy Halloween to you, too. :)
What is that first sound called
amb_spooky_00
Oof. Just thank what 115 does to u. Turns u in to a monster. And in the 2030s it went air born. Soooo ya. Humanity's fucked

What happened to the rest of the sounds loke the Margwa? They were longer too.
Why why the end part god why
You do know the original version of the image you saw was for a mod, right? It's not truly real.
Lee Walton I know it was a jumpscare
And a pretty effective one, am I right?
Lee Walton yeah my dude you are pretty good at youtube
Yes I am. Just underrated. :(
not original nacht der untoten

Where are these sounds from?
