It's used in a lot of other media as well, Dead by Daylights theme, squid game theme, the good place uses it for one of the characters arriving. Shining is the most well known for sure, but it has many, many uses
I honestly want to know why they cut this enemy, I can see why for it not fitting in with some maps very well game play wise, but I feel like it would be one of the more scarier enemies
I might be mistaken, but I remember reading somewhere that either the AI or animations planned for the Engineer, possibly both, were reused for George in CotD.
Well, the most accepted theory is that it was cut because after acquiring the rights from George Romero they decided to replace the engineer who was going to be the mini boss of cotd
@@Eso_brad2005 true, but we know it was cut from Der Riese, Kino Der Toten, and potentially "FIVE" because the sound effects and model can be found in the game files for those maps. While COTD is explainable I genuinely wanna know what happened to the other
I am so glad they left this out of the game. They should of sent it over to the producers of Left for dead would of been more fitting for their game haha
Judging by kino im assuming this was for bo1. Wich ngl i think it would have been cool if it made it into 5 and/or ascension as à slightly tankier zombie but slower.
Yea based on the sounds he makes im 100% glad he got removed, my kid self would be able to handle hearing or seeing him roaming around
The spawn noise is Dies Irae, or more commonly known as used in The Shining Theme

I knew it sounded familiar
Im not gonna lie, im glad he didnt come in the game or my 10 year old self would just stopped playing zombies right then and there lmfao.
LMAO
The sounds he makes are terrifying wtf
If this guy ended up making the cut, he’d for sure be one of the few bosses that give you the “oh fuck what do I do” feeling
I didn't know there was going to be an engineer zombie.
I would've shit myself if this was in the game
0:10 yo metallica?
Weren't the ambient sounds reused in Tranzit when the zombies were "sleeping"?
Yes i do

@@DickieCheezits pretty sure that’s true
Agreeable with all y'all, my two cents is that maybe most players wouldn't like to have a tank running after you. So they cut it.

The voices are funny as shit, I imagine bullying him with friends and making him fly into that rage would have been hysterical
Fun fact the mode was re used in dead ops arcade
I feel like I’ve heard the death ones before, specifically when I use “Restart Level” on bo2
I'm guessing this zombie would have broken the power switch or something?
That would be a great idea tbh
I think the engineer spawn sound is likely what the round start sound for engineer rounds would have been
I'm really liking the eerie spawn sounds.
Your channel is amazing as it gets me to learn a bunch of stuff like this that I never knew about I love your videos can't wait to see more
Thanks bud, glad ya like it.
Damn it’s roars are absolutely horrifying at 1:20
ambient 05 kinda sounds like he's saying "Der Riese"
i didnt know they planned to be on kino. but i always was scared of them while playing dead ops arcade lmao
I believe he was meant to appear on the scrapped coast map for waw
I always thought the "Engineer Spawn" was the pre alpha round change sound effect for BO2 Zombies?
Gonna heart my comment and not answer me? That's cool. Totally.
@@imalive365 Sheesh, sorry, it wasn’t.
It was, they just reused the sound after the boss was shelved.
@@imalive365😂😂😂
Little me would have gone to therapy after this
Kinda sounds like the spawn theme sounds like the Friday the 13th Jason lives theme

Big guy
I’m pretty sure das Herrenhaus has this boss if you ever want to experience him

Actually they had him planned since world at war when Kino was originally going to be be in there
Need this in bo3 workshop 😭
My 9 old self if I saw this in the game: the heck is that?! 😂
There is a custom map that he is on and he is terrifying
The Deaths Sounds Like Just Loading Into Transit Before The Bus Honks Its Horn
roar 01
Reminds me of Starkiller
For when sounds of the Pentagon Thief?
When did he was added on kino ?
I believe he would appear in the cut coast map of waw
so cool
George
Character quotes or grunts?
has someone ever been able to mod him in the game
Someone modded him into bo3 ua-cam.com/video/nHqVLizBUtA/v-deo.html
There's an old WAW Custom map that modded him in, if you're interested!
