    TODD, MIKE TALKS ABOUT PUSHING BACK ON THE WAY DOWN. DO YOU DO THAT? I PUSH BACK ON THE TAKE AWAY. SHOULD I DO BOTH?

      @@JohnHiers the clubface is closing somehow. A late flip shut that you aren’t aware of or a both forearms are rolling closed too soon.

    Todd, you’re saying no flipping happens, but when you finish with that roll past impact, the face closes tremendously, what am I missing?

      @@MaFaKeys what do you define as a flip? The clubface is obviously going to close when we are past impact. Unless we are trying to hit a big hold off slice/fade. Every great ball strikers face is closings pre-impact and is completely closed at P8.

      @@toddheugly ok, so it is ok that post impact when you’re rolled over the club face is completely closed?

      @@MaFaKeys yeah the clubface is always closing in a good swing due to having a good grip. Trying to manually flip the the club shut is extremely difficult to time up consistently. Some golfers cab do it though. Phil, Webb Simpson, Oosthuizen just to name a few.

      @@toddheugly I see you are setting your wrist in the backswing and then in the downswing you are starting to rotate to square up the club face at impact, but how do you control the amount of squaring up to be ‘just right’ at impact? You mention there shouldn’t be any manipulation, but there is clearly wrist manipulation?

    • @toddheugly
      @toddheugly  2 місяці тому +1

      @@MaFaKeys that all comes from your grip. If your grip is on correctly the clubface closes automatically like in mine and other tour pros swings. We grip in a neutral to a stronger position which return the clubface square at impact. If golfers have bad grips in the palms of their hands they are always going to struggle.
