Hi! Thanks for watching! There could be multiple things causing this issue. I would first try flushing your permalink settings. All you'll do is go to Settings>Permalinks and then resave your settings. Hi, Thank you for this video. It helped me to understand sitemaps. How do I remove url's that are still showing in Google search console - do you have a video on how to permanently remove those. They do not exist as I was learning and changing as we go on the pages and posts.

Hi! Thanks for watching! Hmmmmm it could be because you have a large site with a lot of items. You can add them all to your GSC account. You can submit up to 500 sitemap index files for each site in your Search Console account. Hope that helps and thanks again!

What do I need to do, to completely index the site with brand new permalink structure? (The entire website lost it's visibility(seo ranking), though the site does exist on google and are active.) Yep, it's for WordPress. And when submitting, you only have to do it for your primary domain. :)
