Because YOU didn't, Jake. You claim to encourage your community to figure out things for themselves and spend a good deal of time condescending to them about how they shouldn't want step-by-step guides because that makes them "sheep" and they need to treat this as a college course, when the reality is that your EndMyopia material is virtually incomprehensible without guidance. Of course, there's a difference between taking a class with a professor vs. getting a textbook and piecing everything together yourself. But your free material is not analogous to a textbook, it's rather like if you cut up the textbook, stapled random pages together, rearranged the order, and added superfluous fluff. Your UA-cam clips and articles have so little information that my time is wasted for a good 70% of the time I'm on EndMyopia stuff. There is no starting point, there's about 30 seconds of useful content per video, you send people on endless redirects, etc. You want people to pay you, I get it. But stop gaslighting your community, telling them that they're sheep, they're lazy, and they have attitude problems, when in reality, you're just producing incomprehensible garbage.
Damnnnn, you made an entire documentary for newbies, this a like a condensed version of endmyopia , when people used to ask me about endmyopia or vision improvement i had to forward the sites link most of them used to get bogged down by the details and were unable to put all the puzzle pieces together but now, I ll just send them this video ....... , you are doing god's work keep it up!!!
I have been saying this since forever though and my point proves your point as well. When I was young I use to play allot of video games and watch TV, I needed glasses, then when I was a teen i stopped watching tv and playing games opting to listen to music and go out with friends, come my 3 year eye exam I no longer needed glasses and my vision was perfect to which my optician claimed it was down to wearing my glasses, upon me telling her I never wore them she then went on to tell me that my eyesight wasn't prefect and I should continue wearing my glasses when watching tv or reading(ironic 360 she did, still makes me laugh).. Now as an adult I spend more time inside my house and I play/type on a 60 inch tv that is an arm length away, yep I need glasses again, but ironically enough getting a new job and being away from the screen for the majority of the day i'm noticing an improvement in my vision again.. So I totally believe this videos and the information given because I have first hand experience.
Also my mum would where glasses everywhere. I proved it to her by telling her to stop wearing glasses when she goes out, she found her eyes adjusting and getting better, even needed a down grade in the prescription as her lenses were too strong.. she went back to wearing her glasses all day every day and needed an increase again. lol People

Like really well… so I went to a store to check the diopeteres and it was -0.5/-0.75 SPH with only -0.25 CYL. I wouldn’t say I would need more. Also I did notice when trying the newer glasses (-1/1.25) I thought everything looked to sharp like artificial… I think I’m making progressive eye improvement already 🎉

Literally none of the countless eye doctors I saw told me that I don't need to wear my myopia glasses for close up work. I ended up having lots of eye strains and floaters after using myopia glasses for close up work (and computer works). Unbelievable! And all eye doctors I saw are very impatient and not willing to work with you. They just want to write prescription and get you out of their office. When you focus on the part of optics, you might me true. Especially if you don't have any astigmatism. If you have astigmatism, let say -2.00 only part of your vision is focus using 'active focus' .
I actually used to do active focus naturally when i was a kid and before i wore glasses, i used to stare a bit at the whiteboard at school to make the font clearer and but now i find it a bit hard to do active focus on a distance but its quite easy to do close up like reading a book

Hi! I would like to thank you so much for this video since you made every concept much clearer to me. I came across endmyopia in 2019 after I was sent to the optometrist in August 2018 because my right eye was itchy. I was told I was 2.0 on my right eye and 1.00 on my left eye. Later I started having migraines and I felt I had been sent glasses with overprescription. Fast forward to February 2019 and I discovered that my vision was very blurry when trying to check the whiteboard of a college classroom, even with the lense on. Later on, I got a new eye exam which said that I was 1.25 on both eyes even though I have better vision on my right eye. My question is, how do I find an optometrist that will provide me with differentials and glasses with less diopters? here in Colombia they seem to always make you buy the glasses they formulate and only those.
Hi Nott Nott, A truly great video, with wise humour. I started as you did. You learn by beating you brains against the IGNORANCE STONE WALL. That is where you are now. Then you ask questions! Keep on going, if you can. I finally found an Ophthalmologist who helps her kids with life-time prevention. That is probably the only answer. Best, Otie
Thanks for the video. The doctors in my area don’t talk about these ways to improve your eye sight. I’ve been learning about myopia a lot to try to help my daughter how has -4.25 glasses. My question is if you should look outside for 20 seconds, should you take off your glasses when doing this exercise to relax the eye? I haven’t come across a video that tell if you should keep the glasses in for off? I would like to do this 20/20/20 rule correctly. Please clarify would be greatly appreciated.
Hi! I’m 11, in my right eye, I’m -5 and in my left, I’m 4.75. I find it very hard to find motivation to do this but I’m gonna start today! I usually wear glasses -0.50 than my normal glasses (including to school) because I find that I can still see pretty good. I always hate going to the optometrist because I feel like I’ve lost hope and I’m gonna be “blind” I guess in the future. I first got glasses when I was 6. My dad also wears glasses but his are -2.25 and -2.50 and his is moving a lot slower than mine. But I’ve heard it’s because mine are still growing and aren’t fully developed. Thank you so much for this.

While I was watching your video when you said I'll have to lean further back because the vision improved... I just realized I've been holding my phone a lot farther than usual I've been doing this using lower prescription thing for about a year (without the other fundementals) and its my first time having progress
Thank you so much!! I was quite confused when reading Endmyopia blog, I don't think the info on which steps to take is very clear... except to go and buy a course which I'd love to if only I could afford it.
I read the Bates method book in the 1960's. I have done the exercises on and off ever since. I do the exercises faithfully for a while and then slack off because of lack of improvement. I always read and do very close work without glasses. For mid range, like looking at a magazine, my vision is blurry with or without glasses 🕶️. I have a very strong prescription with astigmatism. I have noticed over the last 20 or 30 years that when i get new glasses, the prescription seems wrong. A lack of clarity and sometimes distortions. I think the clarity issue is due to plastic lenses, as opposed to glass. An eye doctor told me the distortions were do to the correction for my astigmatism and I just wasn't used to the right way of seeing. I haven't been to an optometrist in about 10+ years still wearing my 10+ year old pair.
Around 3rd grade my eyesight started to drop, but I kept it a secret from my family and didn't go see an optometrist. later in 5th grade they found out and I got a prescription of -3.5. why did my eyesight drop so drastically if I never used glasses and only relied on my eyes? I've been wearing glasses since, I'm now in 11th grade and my prescription is -5.25
Probably a lot of close up activities growing up. You may also have a genetic predisposition for close-up induced myopia. Myopia is not a genetic illness, but some people's genes make it so they develop myopia faster if they do close-up stuff. If person A and person B both performed the same amount of close-up work, person A might develop myopia faster from genetic factors, while person B might not develop myopia as fast because of genetic factors. However, if neither of them did any close-up work, neither would develop any myopia. You might have a genetic predisposition like person A. Also, you might have engaged in more close-up activities than the average child growing up. EndMyopia will still work for you.
Love the video!! It's probably the best introduction video to Endmyopia I've seen so far! But I would like to add that you failed to mention the importance of dominant eye vs non-dominant eye. If you think about it, there's really no need for the glasses to have different diopters for different eyes. Like I just got my new pair of glasses today, they are normalized, but they have the same diopters on both lenses even though I have different diopters in each eye because one eye will always be more dominant than the other. So it's more comfortable and better for both lenses to be the same so the eye can easily adapt to the negative stimulus. If one lense has one diopter and another lense has another diopter, everything gets all messed up and the brain starts becoming stressed from not knowing which eye should be the dominant one. You get what I mean?
Glad you liked it. I don't think it's particularly important - these four main things are things I need to do every day to be successful. Whether an eye is dominant hasn't made a big difference in my approach to vision improvement admittedly, it might explain how things got a certain way with myopia though, so more of a progression topic than for improvement.
My eyesight power is -1.00R and -0.50L , I literally feel like crying cuz I hate wearing glasses and I look so bad with my glasses on I am doing eye exercises and ngl it does relax my eyes I want to get rid of glasses as soon as possible ahhh
@@otiebrown9999 why 20/60? I also have a very low myopia, the optometrists wanted to give me -1.50 glasses but my prescription is definitely not so high, I would say -0.50. Do you have a good website where to check my eyesight?

Great video, but I'm not sure I got things right. To correct high myopia, I should - stop bad habits like smartphone staring with fully corrected glasses and move media consumption to big screens more far away - wear "differentials" for closeup work like reading or computer work which are glasses under corrected by 1-2 diopters - wear "normalized" for every other aspect of daily life as well as life outside which are glasses under corrected only by 0.25-0.5 diopters - try to actively focus on distant objects while using normalized glasses - go outside with normalized glasses for 2-3h per day Is that correct? Did I miss anything important?
Thank you this is a great video! I signed up for Back to 2020, and am exploring other content to help me understand the process. This is extremely helpful!
I was going nuts with the difficulty of finding this information. Thank you. Now, what do I do when Im starting and I probably have a lot of ciliary spasm? Be without glasses for 3-4 weeks and then go to optometry to measure the diopters?
I have been exploring and researching extensively on this topic for quite some time. I’ve also ordered a pair of differentials and started using them. I understand that Active Focus is a personal discovery process unique to everyone, and I’ve been working on addressing my ciliary spasm. However, after about a week, I was still unsure if I had grasped what Active Focus truly is. Recently, I noticed that when I slightly squint or "squinch" my eyes, my vision becomes significantly clearer. Upon researching, I learned that this phenomenon is often referred to as the pinhole effect. By squinting, the light entering the eye is reduced and directed more precisely, which leads to clearer vision. I was wondering if the Active Focus you describe is related to or the same as this pinhole effect, or if they are fundamentally different processes. Looking forward to your insights.
@@NottNott thanks. Also wanted to ask. Do you use differentials most of the day when you’re a newbie as you only have differentials and not normalised?
Great video. A question that comes to mind though is why people think they're having ciliary spasms. From what I understand, a ciliary spasm prevents the eye from performing accommodation. This would mean that if you put your finger out in front of your face and focused on it, and then looked at the wall beyond your finger, your finger would NOT go out of focus, and the wall would NOT come into focus (to the degree that your myopia allows). I'm sure this happens to some people, but it's definitely not normal. No matter how many tens of hours I sit in front of my computer screen, my eyes don't lose the ability to accommodate.
Hey, thank you so much for this guide, it was super clear! I know the rule for buying normalized is 0.25 diopters below your "actual" prescription, but how do really know your actual prescription? I went to the optometrist a week ago and the diopters she gave me were a different eye ratio than the centimeter measurements I have been doing. And even the centimeters, as you know, vary so much throughout the day and throughout the week. It seems like the only real solution to finding the right pair of normalized is opening your wallet and doing trial and error with different prescriptions until one pair feels right.
Sometimes that is the only real solution, it took me trial and error before I found the 'groove' of how I should be doing reductions. It's a problem you solve early, and then long term you don't have to think about it too much.
@@NottNott I have less than 1 dioptre in SPH but more than 2.50 dioptre in CYL(in both eyes)...Will I use full strength glasses for distance and no glass for close up???
A better idea would be ordering trial lens from lens kit, like optometrists do, together with a trial empty frame from aliexpress. This will cost around 30€ and you can check both differentials and normalised.
Hi, I have -1.25 on both eyes. Should I get -1 glasses to practice active focus or should I just go no glasses? I never wear glasses unless I have to (driving at night), but there are some activities where I would like to see clearer (eg going outside, meeting people and going into virtual reality). Thanks for the great video!
I think you’ll have to experiment a bit to see what works for you. You might actually want to try some mild plus prescription glasses for close up reading. (I’m just thinking ahead for myself if I get down to about your prescription). If it were as simple as just not wearing glasses I (and you too probably) never would have gotten near sighted in the first place after all.
Love your videos man. Question though: my very first glasses prescription was -3.50. I wasn't wearing glasses until I went to the optometrist and got my vision measured. Does that just mean I had a wicked ciliary spasm or did my eye elongate somehow without wearing glasses?
Press X to doubt. Optometrists can sometimes overprescribe like crazy. Solution: measure distance to blur and calculate your own myopia to see if it matches what the optometrist is saying. I'd be somewhat surprised, tbh. Check out Varakari's Vision Log Tool for this, see it on the EM wiki.
Dang you think they could over prescribe by like 2+ diopters? Wouldn't I have had some really weird vision if it was over prescribed that much? Yeah I've been measuring myself lately with a snellen. I will check out that tool though thank you. I was 8 years old at the time when I was given the -3.5. Now unfortunately after following optometrists orders for 15 years I'm at -10...Admittedly I'm hoping I just started with a very bad ciliary spasm so I could get a chunk of that vision back a little faster. Though I have no idea if a ciliary spasm could account for -3.5 diopters. Is that possible you think then or no?
@@BeeVee-zz9ip Apparently ciliary spasm has accounted for crazy amounts of myopia, according to Jake. I'm not entirely sure, our sample size is so stupidly low on everything. BUT, you will feel awesome if your vision improves dramatically quickly if you get started with EM stuff :)

Hey man, congrats on all your gains! Quick question, I've had horrendous double vision for 6 months to the point where the ground is rising upwards with and without glasses. It is not due to CYL and it only began after starting endmyopia. I'm 99.9 percent sure it's due to a reduction in axial length and as a result my visual cortex doesn't know what's what. Other than staring at contrasty text/distant objects and recognising the ghost image and going up in correction, what would you recommend? I went from a -1.75 normalised to -2 to fix the issue but it hasn't helped all that much.
TBH, I've had horrendous double vision since starting EM too. I just suck it up and try to ignore it really. Not quite sure what to do in this case, all I know is a long time from now I'll be 20/20 and the DV will stop :)
@@NottNott It didn't work for me but you should try and increase correction by a quarter diopter just for a week and see what happens. Also, do you know how to stagger normalised and differential corrections? Jake says not to do both at the same time
@@carminefalcone3069 You can do that, give it a try. I feel like it'd always come back, IDK, never bothered me enough. Also, eyesight improvement is different for everyone. @@NottNott Thanks for the reply. I was a bit confused about cylinder. How do you go about reducing that? If you have -2 with no cylinder, you'll need to get 8 pairs of glasses but with cylinder would you need 16 pairs, i.e. -2 with 0.5 CYL and -2 with no CYL for example?

Yeah, same happened with me. When I went for a visual acuity test to my optometrist. He tested my eyesight in a dark room. And he gave me glasses of -5.5 in both eyes. But I still doubt because I can even see 20/15 line clearly from those glasses in Normal day light. Jake said, they do this to give us maximum correction. Mostly they give Overscribed glasses.

Great video! You mentioned sometimes genetics can play a role though rare, will this method still help? I've been staying indoors a lot over the past couple of years due to depression, and have noticed a gradual deterioration in my eyesight, all types of weird things have been happening with them, but until recently I had an opticians appointment and found out I have an astigmatism, he said that they are genetic.
EM is counter to the mainstream, your optometrists opinions are in the rubbish bin as far as it's concerned. First they tell you it's genetic, then you improve your eyesight and have a test on their terms, and that test tells you that your eyes have improved. Going outside will help a lot. Good luck!

Active focused could have been explained a bit more in depth though. I have very low myopia 0.75 and 0.5 I do not wear glasses at all except when driving at night or in low light conditions. Not sure what should I do improve my sight, only active focus?
I just discovered this video a few days ago and I must have rewatched this video about 10 times already. It is a great comprehensive summary of Jake's approach to vision improvement. I think I am going to do more reading on the endmyopia website and finish reading the daily e-mails. I think I will order some normalized and differential glasses in the next week or so. Luckily, I only have mild myopia --1.75 (L) and -2.00 (R) .... but I have -1.00 Astigmatism in the left eye. I am eventually going to buy normalized for daily life, going outside and differentials for PC work only and perhaps add blue light filters. Also, no glasses for using my phone and reading books Then,, I will start to reduce the lens correction incrementally over the months/years. I am going to measure my blur horizon from how I normally sit in front of my PC, so I can accurately dial in those differential lenses and measure my progress. Great content, brother.
Thank you! I just calculated my blur horizon to 60cm, which, using the calculator is -1.75 diopters, which is about the same as my lens correction. My eyes usually sit around 70cms from my PC screen. Honestly, while there is a little blur, I could probably get by with either no glasses at all or just a very small correction (-0.25 sph or just a lens with my astigmatism correction only) and blue light filters for my differentials. Going to go outside with my normalized and work on blinking into focus and exercising my active focus muscle! Hopefully, my cilliary muscles can finally start to relax! This is great stuff!

Hi Knott, All beginnings are difficult. I personally think that a cylinder measurements is totally NOT NECESSARY. I convert to SPHERICAL, and check them with my home Snellen. Will almost always measure 20/20 by doing that change. It makes recovery much easier.

Because of your leadership, Jake.
Fam atleast he doesn’t talk 9 minutes for a 40 secone subject , you’re milking honestly
Hey jake why do people start noticing eye floaters after active focus
I have less than 1 dioptre in SPH but more than 2.50 dioptre in CYL(in both eyes)...Will I use full strength glasses for distance and no glass for close up???
You just summarised my hours of reading about Endmyopia in 25 minutes. Wow.
Very good.
And saved a lot of beating around the bush
Damnnnn, you made an entire documentary for newbies, this a like a condensed version of endmyopia , when people used to ask me about endmyopia or vision improvement i had to forward the sites link most of them used to get bogged down by the details and were unable to put all the puzzle pieces together but now, I ll just send them this video ....... , you are doing god's work keep it up!!!
Absolutely EXCELLENT!!
Great job.
Real leadership, is going from 20/50 to 20/20.

Your efforts are appreciated by me.
I proved it to her by telling her to stop wearing glasses when she goes out, she found her eyes adjusting and getting better, even needed a down grade in the prescription as her lenses were too strong.. she went back to wearing her glasses all day every day and needed an increase again. lol People
This was very well done. Bravo! You saved me hours and hours of reading Jake’s posts :))

16:10 nooo ness got myopia :[
I can active focus (and I didn’t knew that even had a name for awhile) and my myopia is low -1/-1.25 (tested at optometrist some months ago) - I will do getting sunlight, being outside more doing active focus and distant vision, not wear my glasses. For a whole year, then I’ll report here if I dropped any diopters. I promise !UPDATE ON THE REPLY!
UPDATE: I found my old (first) glasses from around 4 years ago. I put them on and I SAW WELL.

@@rituparna7059 nope. If anything I was eating really badly because of side effects of one of the medications I (was) taking. It really was just the things I said in these comments. I’m hoping I can drop -.5 diopters this year but let’s see what happens.
@@rituparna7059 I just now tried the old 4-5y glasses and tried only the -0.75 lens (the left one) and I saw well in both eyes! Trying one at a time. I was very skeptical of this but I thought why not try it… well seems like it might be working

ah, a fellow man of culture in the comments.
It's been 4 months since I have started this, and I have improved by the expected rate of 0.25 diopters. (I can see my screen about 2 cm further, but can't see a difference with distance, yet)
I was at -3.75 last year at night at this yearly night festival, and was astonished when I was seeing more clear (with the -3.5 current full correction) than I was with the -3.75 last year. I only use the -3.5 at night because It's so sharp in the day, that I can't active focus. Look forward to seeing perfectly sharp vision at night with -3.25 three or four months from now
that's amazing. any update?

Literally none of the countless eye doctors I saw told me that I don't need to wear my myopia glasses for close up work. I ended up having lots of eye strains and floaters after using myopia glasses for close up work (and computer works). Unbelievable! And all eye doctors I saw are very impatient and not willing to work with you. They just want to write prescription and get you out of their office. If you ask to adjust, they look at you like a crazy person for not just being happy with their first prescription.
Thank you for this video.

Low Myopia, is when you can read most of the letters on the 20/50 line, both eyes open, over several days. It is always critical that you verify this, objectively.
Check this, to find the minum minus power to, "just clear", the 20/30 Line. It will probably be about -1.0 diopters.

If you get there, quit wearing minus glasses, most of the time.
I always bought my glasses online, although I imagine in Columbia the optometrists will care less about following 'the rules' as much
Hi Nott Nott,

You learn by beating you brains against the IGNORANCE STONE WALL.

I just realized I've been holding my phone a lot farther than usual
I've been doing this using lower prescription thing for about a year (without the other fundementals) and its my first time having progress
Saw this on Reddit! Will try it !
thank you!!! couldn't bear the other guys CONTINUOUS WAFFLE on and on and on!!!!
Around 3rd grade my eyesight started to drop, but I kept it a secret from my family and didn't go see an optometrist. later in 5th grade they found out and I got a prescription of -3.5. why did my eyesight drop so drastically if I never used glasses and only relied on my eyes? I've been wearing glasses since, I'm now in 11th grade and my prescription is -5.25
Could be optometrist overprescription, or a lot of ciliary spaam. Maybe a real medical reason.
Did you try it?? And what is your prescription now?? Have u made any progress in improving eyesight???
My prescription is -3.0.😭🥺
Exactly the same my eyes also started to drop when I was in grade 3 and they found out when I was in grade 5
Same story as mine! 😅
Thank you for the information
@@NottNott do you still experience eye floaters?
It’s probably simpler to just reduce your prescription as he instructed but I’m also going to experiment a little regarding my dominant eye.

Great video, but I'm not sure I got things right. To correct high myopia, I should
- stop bad habits like smartphone staring with fully corrected glasses and move media consumption to big screens more far away
- wear "differentials" for closeup work like reading or computer work which are glasses under corrected by 1-2 diopters
- wear "normalized" for every other aspect of daily life as well as life outside which are glasses under corrected only by 0.25-0.5 diopters
- try to actively focus on distant objects while using normalized glasses
- go outside with normalized glasses for 2-3h per day
Is that correct? Did I miss anything important?

@@NottNott I have -1.75 in one eye and 3.50 in other... How to start please guide
Great video. Just a question. Do you get rid of cylinder on normalised if it’s -1 or below if you’re a newbie. Thanks
Yes
@@NottNott thanks. Also wanted to ask. Do you use differentials most of the day when you’re a newbie as you only have differentials and not normalised?
Lots of love, brother
That is Nott!!
My dream is to get rid of my high myopia
Good.
Have you floaters problem
Great video. A question that comes to mind though is why people think they're having ciliary spasms. From what I understand, a ciliary spasm prevents the eye from performing accommodation. This would mean that if you put your finger out in front of your face and focused on it, and then looked at the wall beyond your finger, your finger would NOT go out of focus, and the wall would NOT come into focus (to the degree that your myopia allows).
I'm sure this happens to some people, but it's definitely not normal. No matter how many tens of hours I sit in front of my computer screen, my eyes don't lose the ability to accommodate.
I have been not using my glasses while doing near work and within a month I am down -0.25 from -2.75 now -2.50. Although I have astigmatism.
Now it's -2.00 after 3 months. Down -0.75 Although astigmatism still there.
@@Jewelsonn how is it automatically or are u doing active focus plzzzz reply .....
What a sign if our times that some people think going outside for an hout is just too much. It drives me absolutely crazy to be stuck inside all day
Hey, thank you so much for this guide, it was super clear!

Like I said, I'm just moving my head further back instead of reducing differentials currently. I will probably end up just reducing differentials when I feel like it and not overthinking it with a staggered reduction, personally. Differentials are no big deal IMO, getting the normalized reduction right is what's actually important.
@@carminefalcone3069 Reduce CYL alongside SPH, a bit of CYL one reduction, a bit of SPH next. It's not my speciality as I lucked out with below -1 CYL in both of my eyes when starting and basically don't have astigmatism, read more :D
So many video I watched... this one really best one. 👍👍
My myopia is at -1.5 since 14 and I’ve only been using my glasses in classes when I need them for the past 10 years, but my eyesight is still -1.5 now. You said I don’t need differential glasses if my myopia is mild, so just active focus and long distance would be enough ‘exercises’ for me to regain 20/20 vision? Thanks a lot.
Sounds like a plan to me. Sure
Did it work?
Best video I watched so far on how to improve vision, very well explained and clear, thank you.
Myopia is created by a kid with his nose on the page, and a minus lens used to fix it.
OK?
my vision improves when i fast more than 28 hours. my entire system goes into "hunter mode". i suspect if you practice intermittent fasting the HGH spikes will allow your eye ball to change shape faster and you can improve a bit faster than 1 diopter per year.
You're the freaking man! I'm super pumped to start this journey. I'm currently at -6.00 and if I could reduce it to just -3 or -4, I would be happy.
A fellow -6 guy 🥲
@@abdoo3301 hey I've similar prescription to yours, so did you try any method or felt any slight improvement?
@@harleennnnn hey, I have started eye exercises etc and things like in the first part of this month, I will follow all the tips and diet instructions, and get my eyes checked in the end of October, and then next check up would be in January next year. Hopefully I might drop half a dioptre 🥲 what about you
@@abdoo3301 i recently started so I will update if I see any difference and I know how bad -6 cause you basically can't see shit😂😂even if someone is sitting right infront of you so did you felt any difference, like now can you somewhat see a little better without glasses?
@@harleennnnn LOL, you know the pain too. No, I haven't done enough yet to see a noticeable difference, but if I follow the 20-20-20 rule, and eat well, do my exercises (which help my eyes relax, not gonna lie) I do feel better that day. For now the tip I'm following closely is to use my old glasses to do close up work, like using my laptop and reading a book. Did you try this? I felt better if I do this, as my eyes are not super tensed this way.
I have no words for this great video.
God may give you all what you want.
its funny how they test vision in the dark instead of using light.
I have a doubt. might sound dumb but still.. if the cause of myopia is strained ciliary muscles bcz of clowe up work...wouldnt our myopia worsen when we use phone without glasses cz it stresses our ciliary muscles more?
Good luck!
@@NottNott Thank you very much for the reply. I will give it a go.
@@NottNott So it means we can follow EM steps for genetic high myopia? I have been following EM videos and blogs for a long time. Just wanted to make sure before starting!
Unless he gave you a genetics test, his claim is total bs.
The perfect summarised video with lot disclaimers.😊😊😊
Good to see your success!
the colors of your eyes are fascinating bro
Active focused could have been explained a bit more in depth though. I have very low myopia 0.75 and 0.5 I do not wear glasses at all except when driving at night or in low light conditions. Not sure what should I do improve my sight, only active focus?
Great summary, thanks for your effort!
An amazing summary, well-done man!
Thank you 💐
I just discovered this video a few days ago and I must have rewatched this video about 10 times already.
Glad to hear it! Good luck, the journey's worth it :)
@@shanecleI have a question, should I wear differential glasses after 90 days or should I stop wearing differential glasses and get a pair of normalized glasses?
@@mxnna4895 hello,
It’s really hard to say. I am not an expert in this field. I tried to use the method of wearing weaker glasses, but other life obligations have come up and I haven’t given it all much thought.
I had my eyes checked the other month and my eyesight hasn’t changed much at all. TBH, I don’t mind wearing glasses.
Very well explained. Thank you so much.
Which lenses would you recommend? I have mild prescription -1.00 and i've been wearing polycarbonates for 16 years. I just learned that CR-39 has superior optic quality (58) and poly is actually the worst (30). I never had complaints about poly but i was never perfectly satisfied either. I think i'd like to at least try CR-39 or Trivex this time, not sure if i'd notice any difference.
Hi Knott,
All beginnings are difficult.
I personally think that a cylinder measurements is totally NOT NECESSARY.
I convert to SPHERICAL, and check them with my home Snellen.
Will almost always measure 20/20 by doing that change. It makes recovery much easier.
Why does Nott look like a biblical character, this is a compliment.
Anyways good video and very clear and precise explanations
Hey nottnott, please make videos😢,ur videos inspired me and also others a lot,i have a question that i have -3 in L cyl 0.25 axis180and -2.75 in R with cyl 0.5 axis 20what my differentialbshould be?and is there need normalised as early after getting differential or 🫸 wait for some days?

Keep going.
