    I typically add decals to my models for this, but also include the vector graphic itself for the graphics team to use. I always have the box checked for [store appearance, decal, scene data in model file] + [store images for OLE object data in model file] under Document Properties -> Model Display. - Then I don't worry about forgetting to include any referenced image data with my parts.
