Shabnam-i Surayyo is one of the most prominent Tajik pop singers. She was shot to stardom in 2007 with her hit songs "Az qudumi safar", "Tojik-bacha" etc. However, it was her 2008 Europe tour, in a duet with Jonibek Murodov that handed her the status of a diva among Persian-speaking people around the world.
