Thanks for the link to the island rating site. I've been trying for a year to get my island to 5 stars and have been stuck at 4 for the longest time. I'll have to check my rating to see what I need to do to fix it
From experience you probably need more flowers and trees - that seems to be the problem for most players. But obviously I dont know your island lol. Good luck with five stars!

I was stuck at 4 stars for a long time. Isabelle kept telling me to add more fencing... I had 817 pieces of fencing on my island...

i got 5 stars first try back in 2021 because i thought that kk coming to your island was the end the game so i purposely avoided doing the “main quest “ . still cool to see what goes into your island rating 👍

I got a vaulting pole from a friend before Blathers was even around, and I got a fossil. They start spawning everywhere just like normal.

My island I got 4 stars by accident. I was just trying for 3, to unlock terraforming. I ended up with a 2 star rating almost immediately after because I stripped everything back as soon as KK's show was over. Now I'm sitting pretty at 5 stars again.

Lol, I could have told you whether or not you could get a 5 star on the first try. I reset my island but (using my sisters island) brought over everything from my previous island. I know, im a cheater 😅. My previous island was a 5 star, and for the most part I wanted to use everything I used on my old island, so i decided that I was going to do everything i wanted to do with this island before i checked it with Isabelle and see what I got.
I got a 5 star without even calculating it to make sure I got it lol
May not have known I wanted to know the answer to this, but it was satisfying to find out! Great work as always

Imagine if getting 5 stars on your first try made Isabelle shocked, like "WHOA, we really did it that quickly?" Given how ACNH accounts for a couple other rare exceptions in dialogue.

I remember a time during my island development when I had to flatten my island so that I wouldn't get lost and could find things much easier. It was a difficult decision, and I also had to get rid of the rivers, trees, and all that. To my surprise, my island's rating dropped to 2 stars, and that's when I realized that the presence of hills or lack thereof affects the rating. At that time, I had 10 villagers, the museum and Nook's upgraded, and I had Able Sisters' shop built. The campsite was also constructed. I could talk more about it, but if this resonates with you, I'd be happy to share more details.

I knew you can get more than 3 stars (I once restarted and placed literally any and every thing I got to get to three stars quickly and got 4 stars as my first evaluation), but I doubted you can get 5 stars, so it's cool to know!

Video ideas (again)
- "How long does it take to get every single item from Able sisters?" (Time travel daily and buy out the shop until you own every clothing item available from Able sisters, tis can also be done for nooks cranny, Sahara, Redd, Kicks, Etc.
- Can you beat ACNH only using (Color) Items? (For example, you can only use items with a majority Red color to get a 3 star island)
- Video ends when you catch 10 sea basses in a row
- Video ends when you catch 100 common Bluebottles
- How long does it take to collect every single item in the game (with nookazon/viewer help)
More ambitious ideas, most likely would be multi-part or series
- Unlock every single line of dialogue from every non-villager NPC in the game
- Finish every nook miles achievement (I know you said you wouldn't do it in one video, but most likely a multi-parter)
- obtain every item in the game without using online
- How long does it take to collect every single item in the game (without nookazon/viewer help)
- 100% the game (As far as I know, no content creator on YT has done it yet)

You should see how long it takes for you to get S rank on your house! I'd love to see how many in game days it would take
Just neatly stack fish or bugs in your house. Make sure you have a bed, a dresser or closet, a mirror, a chair, a table in one room. Fill the rest with bugs. I did this accidentally once. The points are basically just a tally of total items used to decorate your house. More stuff = more points.
video idea- put all gold tools, a stamp on every acnh nook miles card and full museum all together on the same challenge and see how long it takes you to do 3 things at once. gl

I accidentally destroyed one of my rocks today, and I had to do the whole setup where you put mannequins everywhere to force the rock to spawn where you want, and after I finished time travelling (and after 17 tries to get the rock in the correct spot), I removed all mannequins by changing the pattern, and later noticed that I had a lily of the valley... but I had only 3 stars... then after some research I found out that mannequins count towards the rating system, and you can just spam mannequins everywhere to have 5 stars
Animal crossing have so much thought put into edgecases events, that the fact that they didnt have anything for you getting 5 star on first try (aka, isable telling you that you got the watering can immidiatly after the show or tom nook telling you to come pick it up) make me think someone definetly brought it up and immidiatly be like "well, there is practically no chance its happening😊"
i wouldve personally appreciated the video being longer + including more actual stream clips! this did just kinda feel like Animal Crossing Math: The Video, lol. it's unfortunate cuz this was a very cool concept!

You probably know this already, but you don't actually have to pick up weeds, unless you need more space for decorations.
there is a penalty for too many weeds, over 100 I think.

Hey dagnel I wanna ask since I havent seen every video of yours, but in your zodiac furniture video you claimed you can only get ONE gold nugget per day (excluding the dedicated gold nugget island), even with Katrina's blessing, however that isnt true. Not only have I gotten two in one day a few times, I just got back from a normal mystery island where I got TWO on that same island.
Could you Clear that up? Cause it's been bothering me for a while
You can get one per day on your island, that doesn't apply to nook miles island

Here a hard Challenge : (in animal crossing)
Catch all bugs and fish and get all the artwork
Get all gold tools
Get a 5 stars Island ( only nookazon for the furniture)
And do all the nook miles achievements
Pay all your debt from Tom nook with only poki
Do all the museum
And get a S on your house
And get all the bug models and fish models
Rules: everyone you trade in nookazon only trade with them one time
Rule: you have a timer you have to do it in one week good luck 🍀🍀

I have an idea, can you pay off the 120mil crown with the tailor tickets?
You can only buy items that are 3k bells or cheaper. You can use multiple tickets to buy multiple items, but the values don't stack up on each other. But even if, a full pocket of tickets would only be worth about 1 mil bells, so even if you had a full pocket (and wasted your time getting those 400 tickets), it wouldn't be enough for 120mil. Though I believe the crown in question is worth only 1,2 million bells, so an entire pocket of tickets would theoretically suffice.

using a tool to help you calculate and achieve said 5 star rating defeats the entire purpose of this video… im genuinely confused, at this point you’d be literally just double checking for the rating
if the website told me I have a 5 stars, and the evaluation 3, then I'll know that the game isn't programmed to give 5 on the first check. But that didn't happen, because we proved it doesn't matter.
also, you'll want to make sure your island is 5 before checking, so you leave no doubt that the rating is accurate. if I checked my island without the website and it's 3 stars for example, I'll be left wondering if there was more points to be gained before checking. But it's too late, you've already checked it the first time. Have to restart from the beginning.
