Yep - it's a simple idea, but a good one. In general what I'm finding is that the Princess app is not a replacement for their daily program, The Princess Patter.
Oh the Piazza is so tricky to work out of. I would duck into one of the closed bars off of it and use noise reducing headphones. I also full on had the general alarm go off during a meeting once. p.s. great job narrating with a drink in one hand and phone in the other.
Closed restaurants are often a saving grace...until you find a staff meeting starting around you. As for the drink in hand, check out our Buy Me a Coffee to contribute to the "get Billy a hands free steadicam rig" fund.
Which makes sense. We like the flexibility of not committing, especially on a new class of ship. We were able to get a walk up again tonight and talk about it more in the upcoming vid.
@@CruiseHabit One common theme that I've noticed in all of the reviews and comments on-line about the Sun Princess is that many of the public venues are not big enough relative to the number of passengers on-board, and so I would be concerned that if I was to wait and try to get a reservation once on board or try to just walk up and get a table I there would be no openings, especially if there's a high take-rate with the Premier Package. If I'm spending extra cash for the Premier package or a Sanctuary Collection room (which we're doing next May), then the expectation is that I should be able to use the specialty dining every night, which comes with it.
I've only been calling via Zoom, WhatsApp, etc. I tried placing a test call from one phone to another right now but it went straight to VM, so incoming didn't seem to work, but we'll check again tomorrow in case settings are messed up.
Also, something I've been meaning to tell you, your voice has a bit of a warble here and there. I've noticed it on several videos at this point. I have a feeling it's not the mic, but the actual recording.
It happens when I use a lot of processing to reduce background noise so that you can actually hear me (or so that I don't get a copyright strike by UA-cam). I have noticed it happen a few other times - which is weird, and something I need to figure out. Recently started using a new device and am figuring it out.
I do like that on the Royal app. I've used the "what's open now" feature on every cruise at least 2-3 times.

Larissa is correct (of course). Burnt orange and brown = 70s. Boom boxes and neon colors = 80s.
I'm learning that my childhood involved very outdated color pallets.
love the Sun princess got some awesome drone footage of this ship
She has some interesting qualities and a lot of great spots. Filming a tour now!

I always book my dinner reservations as soon as I book a cruise, I don’t want the hassle of dealing with it on embarkation day.

Look! It's Billy's face! Again!
But wait, there will be more!
You mentioned the Wifi speed was decent. Did you happen to try wifi calling by chance?

Curious…what exactly IS “work” for you (and the radiant Mrs. Hirsch?)
She works in tech, I work in fin-tech. Very exciting stuff 😏
@@CruiseHabitAs long as it provides the funding for adventure!
