It’s crazy how far they’ve come. I’ve been enjoying my Longmill 30x30 and can’t wait for the 4x8 Altmill (hopefully in the near future). I’m glad they’ve made CNC accessible to the main public who’s not looking to spend a fortune on a large and rigid CNC.

this machine is a dream. i was leaning towards upgrading my 4060 machine with a onefinity. still trying to save up for it but you all have changed my mind on that. i want nothing else than your altmill. super impressive. i would be able to do my topographic carvings of states in a few hours instead of 30 hours. hoping in a few months i can get one.

This is by far the best value CNC in its class in my opinion. Extremely well engineered and the perfect fit for anyone wanting an affordable quasi-commercial production machine with all of the bells and whistles you would expect in pricier options. Congrats Daniel, Andy and the rest of your team. Just making some space and I'll be ordering soon.

Yeah, my S5Pro is super nice...no serious complaints - but if this had been an option for me a year ago, I'd have made a different choice.
@@ReallyBadJuJu And no 4th axis. That's a deal breaker for me. I can even get one for my little Stepcraft D840 that's several years old. The hoops you have to go through for multi-sided without a 4th axis are too much.

awesome machine for sure.... I wanted to purchase it immediately after following the progress on UA-cam.... but I couldn't wait till next year to take delivery. Maybe next time....
I was seriously looking to buy but instead going with the one infinity elite. The Altmill is seams to be like a great CNC and I know it will be successful.

I don't see a reply from Sienci on this. The silence is deafening.
What would it take? Just cut the Y extrusions and the table legs shorter and buy shorter ball screws and linear bearings and change a few lines of code. They could do that in their sleep.
I think this blows the x-carve pro out of the water.
Will this be available with a ATC & in a 4’x8’ or larger?

Has anyone received their Altmill yet? I honestly don't want to buy until I hear some real reviews.
We have about 50 customers who've received their AltMills now, we're working on about assembling and shipping another 200 over the next few months.

Yes, we don't have a Sienci-built ATC for it yet, but with the SLB-EXT controller and toolchanging functions built into gSender, users should be able to install their own aftermarket options for now.
I'd be surprised if PwnCNC doesn't have an Altmil in their lab. It won't be long and it'll be slick plug and play. Just like the PwnCNC for all the other popular benchtops.
I wish they could take payments.
