Interior modeling is very good as well, the cabin may not be as detailed as Fenix, but it's actually quite close, as for the cockpit I would put it between Fenix and FWB. The cockpit is more interactive, you have most of the misc stuff like the table footrest sunshades etc. Despite it not being a study-level addon, I was genuinely surprised how many things were simulated, like doing the battery test and seeing the amps go down, the mcdu is ~90% complete to my knowledge, there were some misc things missing but overall good job with that. Avionics software is decent, in comparison to FBW you can actually do an rnav, though it's quite inaccurate, I haven't tested any of the normal law protections yet. Lastly, a small detail, but I could actually hear a difference between going 290kt and 340kt. At 340kt the wind noise is so loud I love it. The bad things: Though I like the audio features and I've heard most of the sound effects that I would expect, I have to say that the audio quality is poor. Some of the audio effects just don't sound right or accurate, sometimes they just stand out too much or sound very artificial/edited, and the engine sound sample is very mid. My second biggest complaint is poor performance, both FBW and Fenix are a lot more stable in my experience. Overall fps is fine I guess, but any time I switch the camera pan around etc I get very bad stutters. I'm also not a huge fan of the handling, I had to make something like 75% deflection on the sidestick to get the nose airborne on rotation, the flare felt kinda weird but I don't know how to describe it, the handling midair was fine, the ground handling imo is way too sensitive. I like that the mcdus are independent, but there is no use for it yet because ATSU and AOC are practically not implemented. And there are a bunch of small things like I hate the camera hitbox collision, it won't let me get it close to the window etc. Also despite having good flight deck modeling, I think the fonts are not right. I also had some peripheral hardware issues with the reversers but that might be a problem on my end. “Ask and ye shall receive!” Haven’t done a full flight yet (lowly Xbox simmer here) but ANYTHING has to be better than the original default! And it’s FREE so how can I complain anyway?! From what I’ve seen it looks pretty great and I’ve been asking for a more “involved” A320 for Xbox for a long time! Thanks for the great video review
My favorite airplane in Flight Sim 2024, that iniBuilds Neo V2 is even more upgraded now and has even higher polygon count for more rounded and perfect visuals and better textures. Only a few features are still missing (that are by the way also missing in the most expensive and sophisticated X-Plane 12 addons like the Hotstart Challenger Collins 21 FMC, for example Offset Trajectory and Abeam and some ATSU and connectivity features). I am sure you will like the newest FS2024 Neo, the walk-around this new Neo V2 and have a closer look at these impressive modeled LEAP engines is an unforgettable experience.
I'm assuming I'm the only one that having issues with throttle calibration on this airplane. All other detents work perfect but I cannot get the reverse thrust to engage by using the tca throttle quadrant. I created a separate profile but still having issues. Y'all have any ideas?
The FBW is better, the physics of the IniBuilds are off, i have floated at full flap and 100 knots down a 10000ft long runway with it before, which is so unrealistic. However, i must reccomend the fenix over both, which is actually a very good deal and a great aeroplane that you wont need to replace.
I get that, but I'm expecting this to be fixed, and I have absolutely no intention to fork out 1000$ for the fenix which is now only slightly better! 😂
I love it ! some people are saying that the ground textures and clouds are worst but in my opinion I think are better than SU14 and better resolution 😁😁😁😁👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I just did a short flight and the aircraft few all waypoints as they should be including speed and altitude restrictions. For a free addon very impressive what Inibuilds has done here. However, I would love to see the sounds to be improved, specially when panning around in the exterior view the engines are very very quiet...
Like others have said, I'd the same experiences on take off and landing, additionally I have had the AP decide to go off and do it's own thing, especially after manually engaging approach mode. But the inibuilds has a feeling of weight behind it, it's hard to describe but it feels more like how I'd imagine it feels to fly the real aircraft, the FBW feels light and more computer like in comparison. Overall I think it's a great addition but wonder who was doing the beta testing because there are obvious faults in it that hopefully inibuilds will rectify. Good honest review btw.
Same man, i did a flight from riyadh to doha and i almost used the whole runway till reaching vr, and one thing i dont know why that happened is when i was coming in doha and changed runway and sid on the fmgc , and my whole aircraft froze 😭
I don't know if it's just me, but when I initially tried the handling of the v2, it felt like it was slipping in the sky in the sense that when I went from a left roll to a right roll it felt like the aircraft showed momentum and a little resistance initially. I thought this seemed more realistic. Wondering what everyone thinks.
Just had my first flight with the Inibuilds, not flown the Asobo 320Neo much and I don't own the FBW version. I liked the inibuilds plane a lot. It did float for me on landing and that was using an ILS approach. The aircraft is pretty easy to pickup with basic knowledge although personally I had some issues with the nav not picking up but that was probably my lack of experience with this type of aircraft. I have a twist stick, so you'll need to map Tiller/Rudder in the EFB if you don't have the peddals configured I guess. Lovely plane, will be flying this a lot more in the future.
I have flown the Inibuilds A320 about three times, however, as you mentioned the FBW a320 has better handling and the cockpit seems more realistic in the rendering of the knobs, lights, etc than the Inibuilds. Also yesterday, I had an issue with the ILS capturing with the Inibuilds, it seems like it did not capture the GS on approach. However, the question is, does the frequencies for the ILS need to be tuned in manually? That is not so in the FBW.
I would have loved to see an A320neo with Pratt & Whitney engines. The iniBuilds and the FBW are great aircraft. I think I chose my favorite on liveries and registration.
I had a very similar experience to you. Very slow acceleration on takeoff, overly long takeoff roll. I can't remember If I used flex or not - but I ate up most of a 11,000 ft runway at a moderate weight , which is definately off for a 32N. I want to say the FD behaved like that for me as well. Sounds like we both had it in SRS mode vs TOGA mode, but that may also speak to a difficutly getting it into TOGA mode to begin with. Climb to altitude also seemed slow, & ambient/aircraft sounds seemed overly loud for the entire flight. Like you, my landing seemed a little "off" as did overall handling. I've heard a lot of folks are taking a performance hit with this aircraft vs the FBW. My machine did ok, just stuttering a little on approach/landing - but apparently a lot of folks are having a precipitous drop in FPS. I like the fact that it has a cabin, and the depth of the MCDU - but right now I just find the overall feel of the aircraft offputting. I think it's a major leap forward for those using Xbox - but for now I think I'll stick to the FBW. I'll stick a disclaimer in there that I flew it when it was still in Beta, around the first date Sim Update 15 was supposed to launch - so I need to take it for a spin now that it's been formally released.
Afraid not. Is it is a good start for a default aircraft and much better than the original 320 NEO before FBW got their paws on it. However, there are a number of strange behaviours that annoy me compared to the real aircraft including the heading indicator when selected is at north to start with, the real aircraft it appears at the present heading straight away. It also then stays on display rather than vanishing as it does in this model. The MCDU is constantly displaying "not allowed" when inputing weather in the PERF Page. DIR TO a waypoint appears in blue when activated, should be green on the flight plan in addition the flightplan on the ND is weirdly displayed when in NAV. As mentioned below the sound is off too and to top it off, the nose is not quite right in shape. Also, I am obviously being an numpty, but how do you steer it on the ground? I very quickly lose control of it on take off if I make the slightest adjustment with the rudder axis. Granted it's free but I will stick with the fenix which is a thing of beauty.
If you preselect a heading on the ground it should stay but if you preselect a heading in flight it should revert to dashes after 30s if you haven't made another change or pulled hdg
@@busdriver2011 oh yes that should stay there the whole time. Blue numbers if it’s the heading is off the display and then reverts to the triangle when it’s on the display
Thank you for the video, very useful and exactly same conclusions after a couple of flights with the inibuilds: (apparently) better systems than FBW but worse flight model. And by the way, it is like a whole lifetime to lift off. I’ll keep the FBW for the time being and expect further updates of the inibuilds. Apart from other considerations I think it’s a nice way of saying a big thanks to the FBW team for all these years and efforts.
I have installed the airplane after updating to SU15 but unfortunately I cannot see it in the aircraft list. In the Content Manager it is marked as Installed and in the Market Place as Owned.. I have tried everything. Deleteing in the Content Manager and reinstalling it, nothing helps. I have seen in forums that some people have the same problem but no one has offered a solution. Anyone has an idea how to solve it ? I have already tried to delete everything from the Community folder but this does not help either.
Hello just a quick question if anyone could help please I am using Xbox series s but this airbus 320V2 doesn't work for me it sometimes have blank screens from cold start and the throttles go to full power when the engines started with the throttles on the idle position
I’m genuinely surprised by how good it is - handling aside (I’m sure they’ll improve it - hopefully, wishfully), they seem to have ironed out the glitches it had when it was re-dropped into the SU15 Beta. I won’t move away from the FBW yet, will see how Ini maintain updates etc, as they’re not the best with that as we know. Definitely not a contender against the Fenix - not even in the same league, no way in heck I’ll be flying that less! Also, controversially I would put this in the payware category imo - even though we didn’t pay for it, Inibuilds were paid for the product as opposed to FBW, Headwind and Horizon who have 100% donated their time so we can use their wonderful products for free.
I dunno why everyone is releasing an A320 when we have FBW and the Fenix! I wish they released an A350 or B767/B757! Just waiting for the FBW and Headwinds next major update !
I prefer the A32NX, due to much better handling for me on my system on take offs and landings. I've never been on a NEO but both have the same engine but sound so different, I'm not sure which is closer to the real thing, although I prefer the A32NX sounds.
One big issue I found with this aircraft, is that it doesn't work with VATSIM, doesn't let you transmit or receive transmissions, hopefully it gets fixed :-)
@@sprayaho1ic i think so...i googled it and apparently you have to go into the aircraft config file and change the reverse setting to 'true'... bizarre!
i also felt i would run out of runway in the first check ride. i almost reached the tdz of the other end. rotation feels very slow and speed gain is also weirdly slow. rest things are good. i hope they fix it and i really would appreaciate terrain radar
Maybe not, but Microsoft want to include a better version of their default in the sim for FREE (also accessible for Xbox users), so not a problem. They can't include the FBW due to some Licencing issues, that is why they went their separate ways. Like you, I am really wanting the Bluebird B757 as well. FBW want to develop a better external model of their 320 if they get time, to completely ditch the MS / Asobo model. Of course, they are busy with their A380 at the moment, which looks excellent.
i fly in real life the a320neo and from the looks to the buttons in this aircraft look fantastic . Though i dont like the default camera angle of the captain as its more focused on the instruments than on the outside view . Also i had the same problem with the performance : The A320neo engines are much more powerfull and fuel efficient than the old A320 engines so it is a suprise for me that the plane performs pretty purely at takeoff . Also i find that the plane is to sensitive when it comes to the rudder , i have a lot of aircraft but at none of them is the rudder so sensitive .And last but not least the landing : The same as with you @Easyjetsimpilot at landing the nose doesnt want to go down , i had to use manual thrust for it to work somehow . At this state i am gonna be honest i would prefer the fbw A32NX as performance wise it flys way better
Exterior modeling and textures are very important for me, it helps a lot in the immersion. I prefer to fly the FBW, but once you have tasted the accuracy of the inbuilds in terms of aircraft details, the FBW looks very bad (are they allowed to take inbuilds model instead of basic A320 as all these addons are free ?)
@@Easyjetsimpilot autopilot does not seem to understand when you activate approach mode and revs up the engines even though the computer is showing a constraint of 135. Fly by wire has no problem and reduces speed to 135
the ILS part and airport charts reading is weird, TOD sometimes work, on the NX part is flawless, maybe i'm doing stuff wrong :) You have to insert ILS freq in the console because in the MCDU/FMC does not work when trying to insert 111.90 for example. The NX just does it right. Lets wait for the V3 variant. and if you put 100 people as load and 4 tons fuel, 0 cargo, the plane eats up all the 1800 m runway using config 1 and FLEX 58:)) So you have to go full power with flaps 2 to take off. The NX takes off about half of runway, same config, flaps 1. Who is doing it right? On the ground the V2 is way better. The NX is lazy on turns.
I got the Inibuilds A320 NEO V2 with update 15 for PC. Also in the content Manager there’s a free enhanced A320. Is this enhanced version a further update to the V2. Thanks.
So what about the Fenix then? I've always used the FBW since it was a better version then default until now the Inibuilds. Is the Fenix still the superior A320 or is the inibuilds one near enough to how the fenix is because otherwise I'll just stick with my FBW for the time being
I have all installed. If all you want is to have a bit of fun than fbw is amazing. But if you want some more realism in IFR procedures, Fenix is in another level...
@@Airborneaway I had the FBW since it was basically released (was covered by youtubers) and never really got any other a320 hence why i was wondering if the fenix is still the superior or the the v2 is good enough now
Thanks for your videos :-) Without a working flypad - disables me to deactivate the shocks and hinds me to perform a push the plane is pretty much useless. After additinal developing of 6 month a very poor perfomance. I hope to do a working bug fix
You do realise that your voice sounds like James' Blunt when he talks, right? On subject though, I've flown iniBuild's a320 last night and wanted to see someone comparing it to FBW which I fly normally. You didn't disappoint. Really like your content, keep it up! ;)
Fbw. I couldnt even do the first few steps on the new ini320neo because when my cursor touches the pad the pad becomes a literal pink screen (i have a good gpu, cpu, and i get good frames so my pc isnt the issue), and when i switch to fbw, the pad is functioning. Other than that i'd say ini needs alot of improvement on bugs, although i liked the exterior
It's still very buggy, GSX boarding calls opens the wrong doors for the cargo and the fuel burn is too excessive, I've been struggling with performance on it too admittedly. Was hoping these issues which have been in the beta build for a while would be solved but was disappointed that they still exist with SU15 Final released yesterday
This is more of a Boeing SOP than airbus, just a little joke. But you can put say, a 9 mile radius around the runway threshold and then you know you need to be 3000ft as you cross it to capture the Glideslope.
Is there a keyboard shortcut like F8 in FBW so I can easily switch on the fuel pumps etc o? I 'm not too keen on the shortcuts it provides:( but no doubt its an impressive plane
You mentioned importing SimBrief but I did not actually see you do that. When I tried, the EFB kept telling me it was the incorrect aircraft. I adjusted the flight plan in SimBrief several times using all the A320's listed there, including the default. It still would not work. When I tried using my SimBrief username, instead of the ID, the EFB then said importing, but it never showed up. Just wondering if you had any issues actually importing your SimBrief FP into the EFB? As for favorite, I'm still inclined to the FBW and, when I get the chance to actually fly it, the Fenix version.
No success. I did not see any keyboard as mentioned, just the large one that pops up if you choose "on-screen keyboard enabled". Must be an x-Box thing (I'm on a PC). Anyhow, no problem since I prefer the Fenix and FBW versions, so I uninstalled this one. Thanks for the suggestion anyway.
outside modelling is far better from ini than asobo or flybywire i guess but as you mentioned the handling is far worse from ini. I personally really hope for Fenix to develope a neo version of the a320 and a321 aswell, that would be awesome. For the time being im gonna stick to the ceo from Fenix

I agree but now I’m wondering if this is the quality of the A350 we’re about to get .

I am sure you will like the newest FS2024 Neo, the walk-around this new Neo V2 and have a closer look at these impressive modeled LEAP engines is an unforgettable experience.
was fairly shocked to find out that the performance is worse than the fenix... didnt expect that
I'm assuming I'm the only one that having issues with throttle calibration on this airplane. All other detents work perfect but I cannot get the reverse thrust to engage by using the tca throttle quadrant. I created a separate profile but still having issues. Y'all have any ideas?
The marketplace download (PC only) is for the interior and 4k textures. The aircraft itself is included in the sim by default
They are both equally fantastic!
the steering on the ground is inverted for me which makes it impossible to take off. any idea how to fix that?
The FBW is better, the physics of the IniBuilds are off, i have floated at full flap and 100 knots down a 10000ft long runway with it before, which is so unrealistic. However, i must reccomend the fenix over both, which is actually a very good deal and a great aeroplane that you wont need to replace.
I get that, but I'm expecting this to be fixed, and I have absolutely no intention to fork out 1000$ for the fenix which is now only slightly better! 😂
@@dtrjonesFair enough, it really depends what you want to do. I do busy vatsim flights with CPDLC so for me fenix is a must.
@@dtrjonesI think slightly is an understatement
The fbw physics also sucks
@@dtrjoneseverything about this post is wrong. Comical.
The plane only steers like 3° max, how do I fix this (I can’t even taxi because I can’t make the turns)
I agree too.
Yh lol@@terrynorton3182
lol you need to go to options and select yes on rudder controls tiller
I love it ! some people are saying that the ground textures and clouds are worst but in my opinion I think are better than SU14 and better resolution 😁😁😁😁👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I just did a short flight and the aircraft few all waypoints as they should be including speed and altitude restrictions. For a free addon very impressive what Inibuilds has done here. However, I would love to see the sounds to be improved, specially when panning around in the exterior view the engines are very very quiet...
Course we watch you....brilliant vids. Thank you
Like others have said, I'd the same experiences on take off and landing, additionally I have had the AP decide to go off and do it's own thing, especially after manually engaging approach mode.
If you like the NEO I would suggest giving the FBW a try ;) Especially the sounds are excellent!
Thank you for you review!
How do you open the door?
I couldn't even take off, the overhead just wasn't working for me. Meaning I couldn't even align irs.
Completed my first flight with it and had a similar experience with the roll. I was running out of runway and thought I had done something wrong.
Thanks for the Video
The P&W engines will come in the future according to the last Dev Q&A
The Pratt engines are in the shop getting their innards replaced
@@dannnnn496 Correct for the HDG display on the FCU. I am referring to the blue hdg indicator on the ND.
@@busdriver2011 oh yes that should stay there the whole time. Blue numbers if it’s the heading is off the display and then reverts to the triangle when it’s on the display
How can you calibrate the thrust if you have 2 throttles? (Only one is working)
The autopilot turning doesn’t work I set it to managed and it doesn’t turn at waypoints idk why
there is a bug with this aircraft as you can not use ATC with it i hope this will be fixed soon
You need to turn on the VHF radio and maybe adjust the volume. Had the same problem.

Very nice.
What do you press to go through the cabin??
I have installed the airplane after updating to SU15 but unfortunately I cannot see it in the aircraft list.
In the Content Manager it is marked as Installed and in the Market Place as Owned..
I have tried everything. Deleteing in the Content Manager and reinstalling it, nothing helps.
I have seen in forums that some people have the same problem but no one has offered a solution.
Anyone has an idea how to solve it ?
I have already tried to delete everything from the Community folder but this does not help either.
Hello just a quick question if anyone could help please I am using Xbox series s but this airbus 320V2 doesn't work for me it sometimes have blank screens from cold start and the throttles go to full power when the engines started with the throttles on the idle position
its not released yet. how did you get your hands on it
It's been out for a few months on PC
I’m a bit surprised you didn’t mention the Inibuilds sound….because it’s horrendous to me. Really kills the immersion.
that was my issue, I couldn't even continue to fly it cuz it was so bad
You don’t get the perception of speed during takeoff role in the INI builds. That is well demonstrated with a fly by wire, though
I dunno why everyone is releasing an A320 when we have FBW and the Fenix! I wish they released an A350 or B767/B757!
Just waiting for the FBW and Headwinds next major update !
It’s for Xbox users
I had to re bind all controls and its still not right!!
I prefer the A32NX, due to much better handling for me on my system on take offs and landings.
I've never been on a NEO but both have the same engine but sound so different, I'm not sure which is closer to the real thing, although I prefer the A32NX sounds.
The stock ATC doesn't seem to work with this plane, and no nearest airport function
I can't get my plane to go straight down the runway. It's either pulling hard left or right
One big issue I found with this aircraft, is that it doesn't work with VATSIM, doesn't let you transmit or receive transmissions, hopefully it gets fixed :-)
Flew to YBBN last night only to find the reversers didnt work even though calibrated! Am i missing something?
Same issue here. Did you happen to figure it out?
@@sprayaho1ic i think so...i googled it and apparently you have to go into the aircraft config file and change the reverse setting to 'true'... bizarre!
i cant set custom cameras in this aircraft, dont know if it is a bug!!
not finding a solution is a no for me..
Great information, but beyond me!
can u do a startup tutorial of this new a320 v2
i also felt i would run out of runway in the first check ride. i almost reached the tdz of the other end. rotation feels very slow and speed gain is also weirdly slow. rest things are good. i hope they fix it and i really would appreaciate terrain radar
Hey gav, does it fly non precision approaches with deviation scales and app mode or is it like the a32nx🫤?
For the most part it does. Though I’m being generous with it and granted I only have a few hours with it.
Dose the in game flight planner load automatically in this aircraft like the default aircraft, or do I have to do it all through sim brief
I've not tested it, but as it can be used on the Xbox, I think the in game planner can be used.
How does one *close* the window? I can't depart! 🙂
Click the little black latch on the window frame so you can close the window.
@@Easyjetsimpilot LOL, that was not obvious - thank you! 😆
Do we need another A320? I'm so looking forward to the 757 from Bluebird/Justflight.
@@roberthorton9599 Thanks, that makes sense for those who are on console, or dont want to install the FBW mod.
hey there, what would you recomend for a study level a320?
@@gage-wu3er on msfs, the Fenix A320 family.
okay its 2024 and i hope we are done with reskin of existing models and as such. So can we please get a Dash 8 and 220 please ?
i fly in real life the a320neo and from the looks to the buttons in this aircraft look fantastic .
I have Problems with ATC. It doesn’t recognises, that I am flying IFR? Does anyone have a solution?
You must load flight plan in world map. Yes…weird
Every time i look at the flap track fairings or flaps & slats of the FBW, it makes me very sad
How can I setup custom cameras
Did anybody notice that the turning on the a320 is quite weird?
Can you do rnav approaches with this thing?
No trust me it’s horrible
Haven't actually tried it. All the FMS coding is there so it should be possible.

How did you get the cabin
No support for "radial in" on DIR for "shooting a line" on approach, it seems. Unfortunate.
does it have RNP approache capability?
What sensitivity do you use for the Inibuilds 320N
I got the Inibuilds A320 NEO V2 with update 15 for PC. Also in the content Manager there’s a free enhanced A320. Is this enhanced version a further update to the V2. Thanks.
the marketplace download adds the cabin and higherres textures
So what about the Fenix then? I've always used the FBW since it was a better version then default until now the Inibuilds. Is the Fenix still the superior A320 or is the inibuilds one near enough to how the fenix is because otherwise I'll just stick with my FBW for the time being
I have all installed. If all you want is to have a bit of fun than fbw is amazing. But if you want some more realism in IFR procedures, Fenix is in another level...
@@Airborneaway I had the FBW since it was basically released (was covered by youtubers) and never really got any other a320 hence why i was wondering if the fenix is still the superior or the the v2 is good enough now
Can this win Fenix a320ceo?
Thanks for your videos :-)
Without a working flypad - disables me to deactivate the shocks and hinds me to perform a push the plane is pretty much useless.
After additinal developing of 6 month a very poor perfomance. I hope to do a working bug fix
Will it be free for xbox when it releasd
You do realise that your voice sounds like James' Blunt when he talks, right? On subject though, I've flown iniBuild's a320 last night and wanted to see someone comparing it to FBW which I fly normally. You didn't disappoint. Really like your content, keep it up! ;)
Where i can buy this plane?
What are the flap rings you mentioned you could enter on the fix page?
This is more of a Boeing SOP than airbus, just a little joke. But you can put say, a 9 mile radius around the runway threshold and then you know you need to be 3000ft as you cross it to capture the Glideslope.
@Easyjetsimpilot That makes sense. Thanks for the reply.
I've operated Boeing and Airbus irl, but I'd never heard that before.
@@Mark-oj8wj I believe Ryanair use this method, but not 100% certain.
Can you do a video on how to get MiniFCU working with IniBuilds A32N?
What about performance (fps) when compared to the FBW?
Better fps performance, 10 fps more. If you dont mind to do not fly study level aircraft this is very good one performance wise on for pc
I'm getting super low fps when using it. Only 20 fps on Low settings while I get 40 fps on Ultra when using a different aircraft
Don’t use username, use pilot id then it can download data from simbrief
@@willywill4561 That's what I was using. I tried username to see if that would work and since the manual said username as well.
Thanks. I'll give it a try.
OK. Thanks. I'll give it a go again.
Staying with FBW they are updating it anyway MCDU V2 and a whole new cockpit the only thing missing then is a nice pain kit lol
If only we could combine the two!
Fenix?
@@dtrjones it’s not a Neo aircraft. But I agree, the FENIX is almost perfect!
